30 Days to Christmas

"It's going to be very cold, you know? Here," Kaitlyn laid some of Alessio's favourite sweaters. Go ahead, take your pick," she told him. The little boy looked at his options laid on his bed, placed his hands on his hips, and then started tapping on the different colours he found beautiful.

"Already packed?" Antonio asks upsettingly,

"I told you I would leave when the doctor gives me the green flag" She stops and goes to hug her father encouragingly,

"Mama... Toys?" the little one asks, holding out his favourite dinosaur. Smiling, she takes it off his hands, stuffs it into his suitcase, and closes it up.

"AMY" Kaitlyn shouts and Amy drops her heavy suitcase next to the bedroom door popping her head in,

"Aww... Is Uncle T. Crying?" she asks seeing the family emotional,

"What? I am not"

"Ok, Uncle T. We know," she pats him on the back and offers to help take Alessio's suitcase and give it to the men outside who were carrying hers and Kaitlyn's bags. "One more fellas," she calls and hands it over, dusting her hands.

"Walk me out please?" Kaitlyn tilts her head asking and Antonio smiles carrying his grandson. They all closed up their rooms and left Kaitlyn's house locking the door at last. Antonio's face remains emotionless not wanting to show much emotion and that he was upset with Kaitlyn leaving him for a month,

"Say by to Grandpapi" she waves his little hand at Antonio while buckling the little guy into his car seat.

Amy says her goodbyes to Antonio and gets into the passenger seat. Walking over to the driver's seat, Kaitlyn waves her hand at her father, giving him a flying kiss. Finally, Antonio smiles —slightly—and keeps waving as she drives out of her house and straight to the airport. It wasn't as long as she thought because of course it wasn't the peak of traffic and people were at work, the roads were mostly free giving them a smooth drive to the airport.

"Wowwwww..." The little one looks around him unable to say anything else when he discovers the private jet his mommy is taking him in.

"You like?" she asks and the little one nods his head vigorously,

"Good morning Mrs. Garcia, Ms. Amy and little mister Garcia" the pilot bends shaking Alessio's hand and then Kaitlyn. "Adeline" the pilot introduces the new air hostess with a small introduction. Adelina was from Longdon, struggling to make ends meet she took her life's savings, left her toxic ex-boyfriend and entered flight school, unfortunately flying wasn't in the books for her and she took the next initiative to become a hostess —If you can not fly it you serve it.

"Let's get you buckled in little master" She takes the little boy by his hand and seats him on the comfortable chair, "all you need to do is take this-" she takes one corner of the belt, "And plug it in tight" she shows him, "If it's too loose you pull this and it fits perfectly" she smiles securing the child in his seat. Adeline was eternally grateful for the job on the private jet because it paid 3/4 of her debt to various people she owed in order to pursue her dream. Happily, she buckled Kaitlyn in and moved behind Amy but smiled nodding when Amy had done it herself. With one final round up she told the cockpit and sat in her seat all strapped in for safety.

"How many times when we see Papi?" at first Kaitlyn didn't understand and it took her a second, when she rearranged the words —the little one was been excited he even jumbled up his words,

"A few hours baby. You take a good sleep and I promise I'll wake you before we land"

"Promise" Alessio held his pinky with a stake eye,
