Kaitlyn waking up in her new home felt a wide smile come to her, she officially moved 2 months ago and was moving a few things around during the week. She was holding a small party for close family only.
She walked into the bathroom gazing at her open stomach, Her smile only brightening up. She was pretty big now, the last time she got herself checked was a week ago, and the doctor had told her she could go into labour either this week or the next.
Kaitlyn had decided she didn't want to trust the walls of a hospital when the time came, Hospital walls itself panicked her, and to look at them and give birth to her son wasn't in her plan.
Her Aunty Jen was a midwife as well as a nurse, and she was delighted and honored to be there to help Kaitlyn when the time came. They planned a small sweet water birth, everything was set in the room because of the doctor's diagnosis,
The Baby boy's room was converted into a temporary birthing room, the curtain were closed and kept on a regular basis, only opening the windows for a little bit of air, that too only for an hour and during the peak of the sun.
A small wine of colorful lights went around the wall to give it a small lightening, Kaitlyn wasn't a fan of the boring depressing lights that went around the house, and so for her son's room she had planned fairy lights to cover the area,
Kaitlyn got into a new pair of clothes and headed downstairs in the lift, In the kitchen Amy was there making breakfast for everyone.
"Morning Ames" Kaitlyn greeted and got a simple reply, looking around the kitchen and the back yard she could see Aunt Jen was missing,
"Where is Aunty Jen?"
"Oh yeh! She said she had an emergency back at the boarding and said she'll be back for lunch" Amy reply. Since Jen was a nurse as well as a Midwife, She was an official nurse at a boarding school for young girls, this very boarding school also acted out as a orphanage and a second home to mother's with no support.
And for the entire place it was only Jen and another assistant nurse to help out with the medicine and such. Knowing Jen was cutting a huge fine not going to work and living in Kaitlyn's house with her incase Kaitlyn goes into Labour, Kaitlyn prayed the baby wouldn't come today,
Or atleast until Jen get's back.
"Morning mama bear" Leonard's voice chimes in, he gives a small side hug to Kaitlyn's side and move towards the breakfast table with pancakes,
"Any hope today mama?" Valerie's exciting voice brings cheers into the quiet kitchen, Kaitlyn smiles resting her hands on her big belly,
"He's calm today, no kicks, no hiccups, but quite a bit of moving around last night, it was like he couldn't find a comfortable position to sleep"
"Maybe because mommy's running out of space and he wants out" Valerie says in a baby like tone as if she were speaking to the baby directly,
"Tia Kay, Tia Amy GOOD MORNING!!!!" the little girl comes running to Kaitlyn to jump but on que Leonard jumps in catching her off-guard, he kept her down reminding her of my very pregnant stomach, Kaitlyn only laughs when Sofie slowly walks towards Kaitlyn with her pity eyes,
"Good morning Sof" Kaitlyn sweetly says giving her a small kiss to her cheek and cuddling her,
"Can we feed the ducks and fishies" Sofie pleads with her pitiful eyes at Kaitlyn,
"Sofie you know Aunty Kay is having a baby, she needs to rest" Lenard says strictly to which makes Sofie's eyes burn a little with a tear drop about to drop,
"Leo I need the exercise, And the doc told me I didn't have anything to worry, today's Wednesday and it looks like it might rain in the afternoon, I might as well stretch my legs now or I might not get a chance" Kaitlyn pled as well, Leonard huffing out in defense just nods his head,
