Chapter 37

In England Kaitlyn stayed in her office with Amy in the next room, the phone was ringing and after 3 calls it was finally picked up.

"Lovely surprise call Kait" Jackson humorously picked up the call,

"It's an important matter Mr. Delvour" Kaitlyn didn't stop in showing off how serious she is, her voice once again held a high authority,

Just like her father.

"Oh... that serious? please do continue" Jackson urges changing his tone to match equally to Kaitlyn,

But no one can beat the voice of a Garcia.

And Kaitlyn must live up to her father.

"You know I love you like my second father" Kaitlyn starts up calmly, Jackson's taken by surprise but nevertheless answers,

"You're making this official because?....." he drifts off with the question,

"Because the next time your son attempts to ambush and threaten my sister in-front of her own daughter I will not give it a second thought and fire the bullet through your son's head and his friend's" Kaitlyn took a pause calming herself cause she knew anymore stress and she might go into a complicated stage with the baby,

"He's alive right now because I don't intend to start a war with the Italian mafia and end the family relationship you have with mine" Kaitlyn finishes off in a much calmer tone,

Jackson was quiet. He didn't know exactly what to say. He was beyond angry,

He was furious.

He started to think of what could've gotten into Ricardo's head to even think of such an act.

He knew his son had started to back track since his secret lover left and Jackson was embarrassed to call him his son because of it.

He taught him to never have a weakness in life and Ricardo did the exact opposite.

In the Italian Mafia weaknesses are disposed immediately but Ricardo did the exact opposite and broke protocol and his father's first rule.

Marriages in their family were entirely business, if the couple did fall in love it will still be accepted, as long as both sides had equally strong bonds and guns.

"My apologies Ms. Garcia. I don't know what's gotten into his head. I will try and knock some sense into him" Jackson immediately apologized.

"On that note, I will be framing this event. If Leo came to know about Ricardo's involvement in this he will wage war on the Italian mafia. I don't want this to happen given his wife is expecting their second. Take precaution when speaking of this event Mr. Delvour. Your son can thank you for this favor or it would've been his head I would be coming for" with that she simply cut the line,

She keeps the phone down and takes a breather. She takes a deep breath in and then let's it all out. She repeats this but isn't happy with the way her insides feel.

Suddenly Kaitlyn gets up, she gives out a shout to Amy soon after she feels her head spinning. Amy came in and noticed the situation, she acted quick and went to Kaitlyn, she held her by her shoulders and directed her to the sofa.

"Kaitlyn what's wrong?" Amy asked after safely lying her down on the sofa. Kaitlyn simply said nothing but held her stomach. Amy ran out of the office and came back with 5 of her bodyguards.

"We need to get her to the hospital" Amy instructed.

The men carried Kaitlyn to the vehicle and drove straight to the emergency care unit of the hospital. Amy felt herself tearing one the way. Kaitlyn was unable to speak, her eyes just stayed opened, blinking momentarily.
