"Welcome home, baby." Dean greeted Stevie with a kiss on the lips, which took her by surprise. "Let me help you with that." He said, taking her suitcase from her. "How was your flight?"
"Oh, uh..." Stevie was completely taken aback. "It was fine." She said, following Dean into the bedroom. "You can leave it right here, I'll unpack later."
"Okay." Dean nodded and approached her with a smile. "I've missed you so much." He put his hands on her and pulled her roughly against him. "I've got plans for us." He winked and kissed her again.
"That's nice, but I'm really tired." Stevie hoped that would be enough to remove his hands off her. "I just want to take a shower and lie down."
"Shower, yes, but no to lying down. Dinner will be ready soon." Dean pulled away with that, sensing that she was uncomfortable.
"You cooked?" Stevie asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Well, I tried." He shrugged laughing. "I'm sure you've missed a home cooked meal. So, you go, take that shower, I'll be waiting."
Dean walked out of the bedroom leaving Stevie utterly confused. She grabbed a couple of items and locked herself in the bathroom, making a mental note to take as long as she possibly could without raising suspicion.
The cheerful attitude disappeared as soon as Dean had his back turned to Stevie. He stayed in the kitchen, intently listening. He grabbed the takeout boxes he'd brought home earlier and dumped the contents into the pot on the stove to reheat their supposedly home cooked dinner. Hearing footsteps, Dean plastered a smile on his face as he moved to set the table.
"Better?" Dean asked, when Stevie came in wearing a robe, her hair wrapped in a towel.
"Much better." She nodded, pulling out a chair.
It was mostly Dean, who kept the conversation going while they ate. Stevie only added a few words here and there, nodded or shook her head. There was something off about Dean, but she couldn't quite put her finger on it yet. He was doing too much and it came across as unnatural.
"Now..." Dean rose to his feat and took away the empty plates. "Onto more enjoyable part of the night." He gave her a one sided smile and held out his hand.
That was the last thing Stevie wanted to do. At the same time, she knew, if she claimed to be tired again, Dean would have questions that she couldn't answer. Unwillingly, she walked with him to the bedroom, trying to come up with a valid excuse so she didn't have to get intimate with him.
"Why don't we take this off, hm?" Dean tugged at the sash of her robe, unwrapping her hair with his other hand.
"Could we just cuddle and watch a movie or something?" Stevie placed her hands on his chest to stop him.
"We haven't been together for nearly two weeks, a movie can wait." Dean shook his head, taking off her robe himself. He was glad to find her wearing nothing underneath, he showed her to get on the bed.
It didn't feel right. During the time Stevie spent with Lindsey, they did all sorts of things in the bedroom. Somehow, when he ordered her around, it excited her and she was bubbling with anticipation of what was to come. Now, however, she didn't want any part of whatever Dean had in mind.
"Beautiful sun kissed skin." Dean pressed himself on top of her and attached his lips to her neck.
Stevie gulped, closing her eyes, she didn't move. Five minutes of missionary, you can do this, she told herself. The feeling of his rough hands, his stubble scratching her chest almost made her shudder.
"You have to put a little effort in, baby." Dean held himself up, his eyes narrowed.
So, she kissed him back, when he leaned in again. She shifted beneath him, when he tried touching her. His hand managed to sneak in between them anyway, she shut her eyes again. Whatever he was doing, it wasn't working and his frustration began showing. But he was determined and he kept on trying to arouse her, until she stopped him and pushed him away.
"I can't do this!" She yelled out and jumped to her feet to cover herself up with the first piece of clothing she could find.
"And you can't do this because..." Dean remained seated on the bed.
"Because I don't want to." Stevie shook her head. "Because I've met someone else."
The last thing she expected was to see Dean smile, her heart was pounding out of her chest. "I know." He said.
