Dan:

You were at Dan's flat on this lovely evening. You were dressed up nice, and Dan was too. You made a nice meal and set the table. Phil was on a date with his girlfriend so you could have a nice, quiet evening.

You paced around the living room, cleaning up anything you found. Obviously, you were nervous. Dan was worried about you.

"Y/N, please." He confronted you. "You're stressing over nothing." Dan tried to pull you into a hug, but you pushed away when you saw dust on the TV. You pulled out the duster and started dusting.

"Dan, if you're parents think I don't care about you-" You started while polishing the TV, but Dan stopped you.

"They're going to think you're lovely."

"How can you be so sure?"

"Because I do."

Your eyes widened. Slowly, you put down the cleaning stuff and smiled.

"You're right. I love you, Dan." You hugged him.

"I love you too, Y/N."

You jumped up as there was a knock on the door. "I'll get it!" You yelled even though Dan was right next to you. You walked to the door and took a deep breath.
You can do this, you can do this. Calm yourself down.

When you opened the door, you put on your best smile.

"Hello!" You greeted. Dan's parents smiled back.

"Well, aren't you the prettiest thing?" Dan's mother gushed. You blushed.

"Thank you, miss! You're looking lovely yourself tonight!"

Dan came over and greeted his parents.

"This is your girlfriend?" His dad asked. Dan nodded, putting an arm around you. "She's a beauty."

"My name is Y/N. Shall we sit down and eat?"

"Who made this delicious plate of fish and chips?" Dan's father asked. You shyly raised your hand. "Dan?"

"Yes father?"

His dad smiled at you.

"I like her.She's a keeper. I hope you two get married one day."

Phil

"Come on!" You groaned, trying to fix your hair. Phil's mom was coming over to his flat. You wanted to be presentable.

You made tea and a fine Italian dinner. Phil helped to clean around the house.

"Are you ready yet, honey?" Phil called to you.

"Almost!" You replied. You decided to just leave your hair down and came into the dining room.

"She'll be here any minute." Phil said. You nodded and kissed him.

"If everything goes well, we'll probably be together forever!"

Phil nodded and kissed your nose. "I hope so."

You sat at the dining table and sighed. You needed tonight to go well, for obvious reasons.

As you came back from the bathroom, you heard chatter in the dining room. Your eyes widened as you saw Phil's mother.

"Is this her?" She asked. Phil nodded. "Phil said you were beautiful! He was right!" She gave a bright smile, and you blushed.

"Thank you, Miss." You shook her hand.

"....Then he drew a picture for me! He was so sweet back then!" She finished. You smiled.

"He still is, Miss Lester!" You chuckled. Phil kissed your cheek.

"Y/N, I think you two are perfect together!" She announced. You and Phil looked at each other and held hands. "I hope you two have a long and beautiful life and family together."

You squealed and hugged him happily. He hugged back.

"Thank you, mom."
