The Romantic Date

Dan:

"Can't you at least give me a hint?" You asked as Dan lead you somewhere. You were blindfolded.

"It's a place." He snickered.

"You're no fun!" You pouted.

"Okay...a little farther....and here we are!" Dan took off the blindfold.

You saw a boat on the canal, with music playing.

"Oh my gosh!" You squealed. "This is perfect! Thank you!"

Dan helped you into the boat and the person rowing the boat started rowing.

"I love this, Danny!" You hugged him.

"Anything for a beautiful princess like you."

"Is there a special occasion?"

He was caught off guard with this question.

"W-What? Occasion? Of course not, I just-and- Look I packed a picnic!" He held up a picnic basket and laughed nervously.

You raised an eyebrow, but thought nothing of it and reached for the picnic basket. His eyes widened and he grabbed it from you.

"Dan?"

"U-Uh, it's hot! You were going to get burned!" He smiled. He handed you a piece of pizza.

"Yum!" You took a bite. "Heavenly."

"Only the best for you!" He grabbed a piece of his own. "Mmmmm."

While you were eating, you were both silent, enjoying the music, the sunset, Italy. Dan suspicously held the basket close to him the entire time, and you couldn't help but wonder what was so special about that basket.

Phil

You were starting to wonder what was taking Phil so long. It was early in the morning, 6 AM. It has literally been an hour since he went to ask someone to turn the air conditioning up in your room.

Eventually, you got a text from Phil.
Phil: Y/N??
You: Wtf Phil where have you been?
Phil: I'm at the park rn come meet me there

You shook your head, deciding to question him once you got there.

"Y/N!" He waved over to you.

"Phil!" You ran over to him. "Why are you here?"

"To surprise you, with this." He let you see a breakfast picnic next to a lake.

"Phil, this is....wonderful!" You kissed him passionately.

"Any special occasion?" You were joking, but Phil froze when you said that.

"Nope, nopeity nope nope! No occasions over here!"

You were suspicious, but shrugged it off.

"Also, we're going to Disney World again."

"Again?!"

"Trust me." He kissed your cheek. "It's different this time."
