When You Move In Together

Dan and Phil were talking to each other.
"Well, I guess this is goodbye." Dan smiled at Phil. Phil nodded.
"I'll still see you around, Daniel. We still have to do our Q and A!"
"Yeah. It's been a nice few years." They said their goodbyes and went their seperate ways.

Dan:

You were listening to songs on the radio when Dan came back to the truck.

"Ready?" You asked. Dan nodded. You got out of the car and went to the back of the truck. Dan opened the trunk up and grabbed your suitcase. You grabbed a rug that you had, and you both brought them to Phil's old room. It was completely empty.

"Are we going to go to Ikea tomorrow?" You asked Dan as you walked back outside.

"Yep!"

You looked over at Phil, who had not said anything for 10 minutes. He was looking out the window.

"Philip?" You finally spoke up.

"Yes?" He answered.

"It's...going to be okay."

"I know. I just have a lot of memories there, is all."

"Well, we're going to make new memories!"

He looked at you.

"Promise?"

You held his hand. "I promise."
