When He's Depressed

Dan:

You came home from work, tired and hungry. You had a new shift; from 2 to 9 at night.

It was dark when you got home, except for a light coming from Dan's room.

You thought Dan was just editing a video, and you thought nothing of it.

After you took your shower, you went to Dan's room to greet him.

"Dan?" Dan was sitting on his bed, with his head in his hands. You sat down next to him. "What's wrong?"

"Y/N, why are you still with me?" Dan mumbled.

"Excuse me?"

"You deserve someone so much better. Someone who's richer, cuter, funnier than me."

You sighed and hugged Dan, and he hugged back with shaky breaths.

"I love you just the way you are, Dan. I don't want anyone else in the world to be with me. I don't care if they are richer, smarter than you. You're perfect like you are." You kissed him passionately. "I love you. More than you'll ever know."

You felt a tear drop onto your forehead, and another.

"I-I love you too. Please, never leave me, Y/N."

Phil

For the past 3 days, you hadn't seen much of Phil. The only time he came out of his room was to use the bathroom or eat.

You decided to confront Phil.

When it was dinner time, you called for Phil. You made his favorite dinner for him and everything.

Phil sat at the table, looking like a mess.

"I made your favorite." You tried to get him to smile, but he kept a straight face and nodded at you. He was about to take it into his room, until you stopped him.

"Phil, please tell me what's wrong. I need to know. You can talk to me."

Phil slumped down in his chair. A tear rolled down his cheek.

"Y/N, I hate myself. My personality, the way I look. I'm a waste of space, wasting oxygen. I have no purpose on this earth."

Your eyes widened. You quickly hugged Phil, making him cry harder. He slowly hugged you back.

"Shh...don't cry, Phil. You're not a waste of space. Everyday, you make hundreds of people laugh and smile. You make people's day."

"Y-You r-r-really think s-so?"

"I know so." You kissed him on the cheek, making him smile.
