Phil: When You Babysit (Part 2)

"Miss Y/N?" You opened up an eye and awoke from your slumber.

You turned over and looked at the clock. 3 AM.

"Lousie, it's 3 AM! You should be asleep, what's wrong?"

"W-Well..I heard..a.. noise!" She squeaked.

"A noise?"

"Under the bed. I think the monsters followed me here!"

"Monsters?" You yawned.

"They're everywhere Miss Y/N!" She started wailing. "Help me please!"

"Monsters are not real!" You threw the covers off yourself and put your hands on Louise's shoulder. "It's all in your head."

"You don't understand! Since I was 3, they've been everywhere!"

"Louise-"

"Everyone thinks I'm insane! I'm looney!" She started panting and getting a crazed look in her eye. "You think so too, don't you?!"

"Maybe you should go back to bed." You suggested calmly.

"I knew it!" She yelled and kicked your nightstand, making your lamp fall and break.

"Hey! That was mine!" You scolded. "Bed. Now."

"My life was mine! But now they're gonna kill me!" She started sobbing.

You sighed. This was only the first night out of 5. You flinched when she started pounding on the carpets.

"I DON'T WANT TO!" Louise protested. "They'll just follow me there too!" You were taking her to Phil's flat for the afternoon because a carpenter was coming to check the floors.

"You just need a little relaxation." You said, stopping in front of a red light. "I bet after this afternoon you won't know what a monster is!"

Louise grunted and crossed her arms.

"Phil's really nice, don't-"

"PHIL?!?!?" She gasped. She had a big smile.

"As in....Phil Lester?"

"Well, yeah."

She started freaking out. "Are you a phangirl?"

"Only the biggest! My dream is to marry Dan Howell! Will Dan be there?" She talked quickly.

"He may be out with D/Gf/N today."

"Oh. Right." She fell silent for the rest of the car ride.

"Oh my gosh! We're actually here!" She fangirled. You smiled. "I can't wait to brag to my friends!"

You got out the car and opened Louise's door. She ran all the way to the door.

You rang the doorbell.

Phil opened the door a few seconds later. He nearly fell down when Louise started screaming and jumping up and down like a crazy person.

"It's Phil Lester!" She exclaimed. She hugged him.

"Who's this? You never told me you had-"

"She's not mine, ya dumbo!" You shook your head. "Her name is Louise and you knew she was coming!"

"I was kidding. She's adorable!"

"You're more adorable!" She practically drooled. Phil blushed.

"Aw, thanks!" He ruffled her hair.

"I'll be back at 4." You announced, turning around.

"Okay! Bye, Y/N!" Phil and Louise waved.

"So, is Dan here?" Louise asked once inside. Phil shook his head.

"With D/Gf/N?" She sighed. Phil nodded.

"Sorry."

"That's alright. Got any Krave?"

"You do know me!" He joked, walking to the kitchen to get some cereal.

"I'll turn on Doctor Who!" She said, grabbing the remote.

Louise smiled at Phil when he handed her a bowl. "Thanks!"

Phil sat down and started munching on his own bowl of cereal.

It was 20 minutes before Louise started whimpering.

"Louise?" Phil asked. "Are you alright?"

"M-Monsters!" She quivered.

"It's a show."

"No, the monsters are here." She pointed to under the sofa.

Phil sighed. "My fortress doesn't allow monsters inside."

"Fortress?"

"Yep! Well, with the exception of Dan."

Louise smiled. "I think I see one over there! One of your soldiers messed up."

"Then I shall be the knight! Where is he?" He held an imaginary sword.

"Over there!"

4 o clock came.

You pulled up to the flat with worried thoughts. You were even more worried when you rang the doorbell.

Louise opened the door. "Miss Y/N!" She hugged you. "I had so much fun!"

Phil was behind her. "She was like an angel. Best kid ever!"

Louise skipped to the car.

"Phil? How did you...?"

"She and I have active imaginations. Smart girl."

It was silent for a moment.

"Y/N?"

"Yeah?"

"I like having a kid."
