Dan:

"Anything else I can get you, Princess?" Dan cooed, setting your water down.

"Dan, it's just a broken ankle. Really. I'm fine." You insisted.

"Nonsense! You're my princess and you're injured." He leaned over and kissed you. "I'm taking care of you until further notice."

"I don't want to be a burden."

"You're not. I promise." He hugged you. "Would you like it if I just stayed here with you in bed?"

You nodded.

"Okay. Just let me go and get my laptop so we can watch Netflix."

"Yay!" You clapped while he went out the room.

The rest of the evening was spent cuddling and watching Netflix.

Phil

"But I want to go to the zoo tomorrow!"

"I'm sorry, but as long as you're like this, we can't really go anywhere." Phil walked over and sat on your bed. "You have to stay in bed."

"But-the Animal Shelter-"

"I'll take over for you." Phil assured you. "Now, I have to go shopping now."

"But I'll be lonely!"

"Hmmm...Oh! I have an idea!" He walked out the room for a moment, and came back with the hamster.

"Now, take care of her, okay?" He told the hamster. He kissed you and walked out the room, closing the door.
