CALEB'S POV

CALEB is secretly staring at the woman beside her while they are inside the elevator. She is wearing his leather jacket. He smiled with amusement in his eyes. Zaia is wearing an off-shoulder top. He doesn't want some guy to secretly fantasizing her that's why he gave his jacket to cover her shoulder.

I look intently at her face. Her brilliant blue eyes is so beautiful to stare. It was like there is something in her eyes that hypnotized me. I've seen a lot of beautiful faces but I don't know why I can't take my eyes off to Zaia. I secretly stares at her beautiful face. She looks like an angel. Ang amo kasi ng mukha nya.

"C-aleb, you can let go of my hand now."

Her voice is so sweet to hear with. I just shrugged my shoulder and doesn't want to let go of her hand. I don't know why I can't let go of her hand. It was like my hands being magnet from hers.

"Caleb?"

I face her and look straight into her eyes. Why is it that my name sounds so nice to hear when she called me? Zaia is looking also straight in my eyes. It was like she is studying my eyes. At this moment, I want to caress her face but I control myself dahil baka matakot sya sa akin.

"Do you want to go somewhere?" I asked her and did not let go of her hand.

"Ha?"

"I need to fetch my sister's dog at the veterinary clinic before going home. If you want to go somewhere, I will accompany you first then we—"

"Hep!"

I was stunned when she suddenly cover her finger on my mouth to stop me from talking.

"I can go home alone, okay? Ayoko na makaisturbo pa sayo. Magtatanong na lang ako mamaya sa baba kung saan ako sasakay pauwi."

Di na ako sumagot. Kinuha ko ang cellphone ko sa bulsa at may ipinakita sa kanya.

Nanlaki ang mga mata nya sa nabasa.

"Ate Deziree really told you that?!"

My Aunt Deziree texted me to bring home Zaia safely and if I won't do that she will kill me. Obviously, she is just teasing me.

"Let's go to the Veterinary Clinic first."

Inakay ko na sya papunta sa sasakyan ko. I am glad that she didn't refused. Nung nasa daan na kami, humarap si Zaia sa akin. I don't know but I feel happy she doesn't feel awkward towards me. It was like we knew each other for so long.

"Hey Caleb! Can you open the window for me? Gusto ko kasi ng sariwang hangin kesa sa aircon."

Sinunuod ko ang gusto nya. Lihim ko sya ulit pinagmasdan. Bahagya nya kasi inilabas sa bintana ang kamay. She was smiling happily while doing that. She looks like a baby when smiling.
