Chapter 29 - Zach and Chandria's closure

ZAIA'S POV

"Have a seat both of you."

Utos ni Zach kay ZAIA at Caleb.

Kanina pa ako kinakabahan. Ramdam ko ang paghigpit ng pagkakahawak ni Caleb sa kamay ko. We talked about the marriage thing already. Caleb told me that it's up to me if I will tell my parents about the marriage. All my life I've been honest to my parents and It's hard for me to decide whether to tell them the marriage thing or not.

"Baby, your Dad and I have something to say." Sabi ni Mommy.

Namagitan ang katahimikan sa pagitan namin na apat.

"Before, I tell you what is really going on. I just want to ask, what's your plan Mr. De Silva? Is your parents will agree for you to have a relationship with Zanaya if they will know who is her father?"

Direktang tanong ni Dad kay Caleb. Humarap ako kay Caleb. I want to see his reaction. Seryoso lang ang awra nya at derekta nakatingin kay Dad.

"My parents already know that Zaia is your daughter Mr. Del Mundo."

Alam ko na nagulat si Dad sa sagot ni Caleb. Dumako ang tingin sa akin ni Dad.

"You learn to lie after you met this man, Zanaya!"

"D-ad! I didn't know at first that his parents know you, and his name is Caleb, you call him that!" depensa ko sa kanya. Pinisil ni Caleb ang kamay ko to warn me not to argue with Dad.

"Still, you lied to us."

"Enough Honey. Just tell Zaia the truth. Honestly, I am so tried also of hiding. For the past years, Zaia sacrifices will paid off. I am not stopping from praying that this will end soon."

Tumingin muna si Dad kay Mommy bago mag salita ulit.

"I'm sorry Honey!"

"It's okay. It's about time we are going to tell Zaia the truth."

Humarap ulit si Dad sa amin.

"Your Mom trust C-aleb."

Napangiti ako ng tinawag nya rin si Caleb sa pangalan nito.

"Then, I think both of you should know the truth. Y-our Mom has a twin brother, Isaac Nierves. His wife name is Zariah."

Di na ako nagulat sa sinabi ni Dad. Di rin nila alam na nagkita at nagka-usap na rin kami ni Mr. Isaac. Tahimik lang ako nakikinig kay Dad habang nag ku-kwento ito kung ano ang nangyari sa kanila sa Greece noon at kung bakit nagpalipat-lipat kami ng bahay. Nagulat ako sa mga naging rebelasyon nila ni Mommy. All this time Isaac protecting us from danger because of Zariah's ex-boyfriend in Greece? How powerful is this man? At bakit gusto nya ako makuha?

"Baby, we are just protecting you from Isaac's enemy. We don't know if when is he going to make a move again to get you from us."

Mommy, paused for a second and sigh.

"Isaac always protecting us. Nung una hindi ko sinabi sa Dad mo na si Isaac ang tumutuloy sa atin sa Greece. But then, I decided to tell him the truth dahil sa hindi sya mapanatag." Paliwanag ni Mommy.

Di ko alam kung ano ang isasagot ko kay Mommy pagkatapos kung malaman ang lahat. I feel sorry for Isaac and Zariah for losing their baby. Bakit kaya hindi naniwala ang kalaban nila kung ipinakita naman ni Mommy ang DNA Test ko sa kanya? Napalingon ako kay Caleb ng pinisil nya ang kamay ko.

"I'm f-fine!"

Bulong ko sa kanya. I know he is worried about me.

"Mrs. Del Mundo, if you don't mind. May I ask some questions? I don't want to invade your family matters but I just want to confirm something." Nagkatinginan si Dad at Mom.
