Chapter 20 - The 1st Encounter

DUKE'S POV (Caleb's Lolo)

He was secretly watching his grandson Caleb from upstairs while talking to his wife Diana. DUKE took a heavy sigh.

My grandson Caleb is inlove with Zachary Del Mundo's daughter. Damon's enemy. Never in our entire life we could imagine that we will encounter Zach again. The entire family already moved on and forgave him. Chandria, my best friend Nix's daughter choose to free Zach from jail. Zach never shown his face again. According to Caleb, some people are trying too hurt Zach's family now? Who is the enemy of Zach this time?

Pumasok ulit sya sa kwarto nila ni Diana at tinawagan si Damon.

"Dad?"

"Caleb is here. Hinatid nya si Zaia."

I heard him sigh.

"How is he?"

"He is afraid that Zaia might break up with him. I heard it while he was talking to your Mom. I don't want to interfere with Caleb's life Damon. But I think, we need to do something. Zaia's family is in danger. I think Caleb will do everything to protect her. We don't know who is the enemy of Zach this time. How is Chan?"

Pagkatapos ko kausapin si Damon ay bumaba ako sa sala. Wala na si Caleb at ang asawa ko na lang ang naiwan na nag babasa pa rin ng libro. Lumapit ako sa kanya at inakbayan sya. Nakangiti na lumingon sya sa akin.

I smiled and kiss her hair. Wala talaga akong maitatago sa asawa ko.

"I just want to comfort our son Amouré."

Diana laugh with amusement in her eyes. My wife is beautiful when laughing.

"Bakit? Takot ba sya na hindi tatanggapin ni Zach yung anak nya? My grandson is a good man, an architect and so handsome. Napakaarte naman ng Zachary na yan kapag inayawan ang apo ko." Natawa ako sa sinabi nya.

Grandperé!"

Pareho kami napalingon kay Caleb. Narinig nya kaya ang usapan namin ni Diana?

"I called your Dad. Sigurado ako na hindi ka na naman nag paalam na uuwi ng Hacienda."

Sumenyas sya na umusog ako para makaupo sya sa gitna namin ni Diana. Napailing na lang ako sa ginawa nya.

"I want to be with Zaia before heading back to Doha." Napangiti ako sa sinabi nya. He is really inlove with Zaia.

"How was your project in Doha?" I asked him.

"Doing great."

"How is Zaia?" Tanong ko sa kanya.

"She is still shocked about what happened. Grand peré," humarap sya sa akin. Napakaseryoso naman ng mukha ng apo ko. "What kind of a man is Zachary Del Mundo?" Nagkatinginan kami ni Diana.
