The next day Kurt doesn't even shows up in school. Worried about the boy Blaine tries texting him and calling him but doesn't get and answer. Blaine also tries talk to Finn who asks "Why do you care about my brother so much?".

Good question. Why does Blaine care so much about Kurt? They are friends or not? And friends care about each other even tho they never said it aloud. But Blaine has to do something. He cares about Kurt and just has to look after him.

After school Blaine follows Finn home without the tall boy noticing. He needs to see after Kurt and since he doesn't know where he lives he short handed followed Finn.

Blaine waits a moment so it's not that obvious that he followed Finn before he closes the last bit to the house and rings the bell.

Only seconds later the door opens and in front of Blaine stands exactly the person he wants to see. "What are you doing here Anderson?" the bad boy asks. "Yesterday you said you don't have time and today you didn't showed up at school" Blaine tells, seeing how the other boy rolls his eyes "No shit Sherlock". "I guess I came here because I was worried and I wanted to see if you're alright" Blaine explains shyly.

At first Kurt don't knows how to react. Why does Blaine care so much? He really isn't the nicest person and still Blaine cares. And why does Kurt like it? He takes Blaine by the wrist, cloeses the door behind himself and pulls the boy aside so no one from the inside can see them or hear them.

"You were worried?" Kurt asks, just to be sure. Blaine scratches his head but nods "Yeah". Then out of all sudden Kurt throws his arms around Blaine who is taken by surprise but hugs him back.

Kurt doesn't knwo why he doesn't mind Blaines touch and even finds comfort but he holds the boy tight. "Thank you" the bad boy mumbles in the hug and hears a "Don't mention it" as an answer.

When they break the hug Kurt looks the other boy in the eyes and it feel like now for the first time he realizes how beautiful Blaines honey eyes are. "I'm glad you're alright. Well I think I should go home now" Blaine says but before he can go the other boy asks "Maybe I could come over tomorrow?". "I would love to" Blaine says, smiles and walks away.

Kurt looks after him until he's around the corner before he goes in again. "Who was at the door?" he hears his brother calling from upstairs. "Just a friend" he answers dry and goes up to his room where he stays for the rest of the day just like before.

This day has been terrible just like it always have been but today one thing was different. Blaine. As bad as he felt today, Blaine made it slightly better.

This is what friends are for right? But what it Kurt doesn't want to be friends with Blaine? And what if Blaine feels the same?

Blaine couldn't stop smiling on his way home. He doesn't know why Kurt wasn't at school but it was worth it. The hug felt so good and Blaine already misses the other boy but they'll see each other tomorrow again. Maybe they'l hug each other again. Oh how Blaine hopes that they'll hug again.

At home he realizes that one thing is missing so he takes out his phone and writes Kurt

Blaine: We said you come tomorrow but forgot to talk a out the time. When will you be here tomorrow?

Kurt: Around 3 or four I guess. I have an appointment tomorrow

Blaine: Okay. See you then

Kurt actually smiles on his phone like an idiot. God hopefully no one sees him like that.

Now he just have to survive the appointment tomorrow and then he'll see Blaine who will lighten his mood again. Just like he always does.

Every two years Kurt has to go to this appointment. Just like today. He hates it every time. But just like he hoped, the thought of seeing Blaine later today makes it a lot easier.

They probably just work for school again but Kurt doesn't care. He doesn't care as long as the silly, curly haired boy makes him feel better and Kurt knows that's exactly what Blaine will do.
