Seven Years later
"I could spend the rest of my life here" Blaine says, not taking his eyes off the beach, where the sun sets and melts with the water, as if it's gone when he takes his eyes away for only a second. "I thought you want to spend the rest of your life in New York" Kurt laughs and hugs the other man from behind.
"I'd be mad at you but you're my husband now and I love you too much for that" the curly haired man says. "Will I ever get used to the sound of that word out of your mouth?" Kurt asks, smiling like an idiot. "Maybe not but I won't either" Blaine answers, shaking his head and smiling equally much.
Just two days ago Kurt and Blaine got married after Blaine proposed about half a year ago while stargazing again. Going stargazing kinda is their thing now.
Now the boys are on their honeymoon and enjoy the time together in the sun while everyone at home is freezing in the winter of New York and Lima.
The first day they spend with unpacking and sleeping the jetlag away as good as possible.
Today the boys went to the beach and enjoyed the sun and from time to time also the refreshing but not to cold water.
The first few years after highschool Kurt was really insecure about his body when it came to go swimming or anything else where his scars can be seen.
But each time Blaine kissed the scars or traced his fingers over them, telling him over and over again how beautiful they are and as Kurt got older he finally started believing Blaines words.
Now he's okay with the scars, knowing they show how strong he was. Also, like everyone told him, they got better. Sure they are still visible but much less than in high school.
"Now come on. Let's go to eat dinner or they give our table away. You can stare out of the window and enjoy the view later again and the next days too" the taller of the man says and goes to the door. One last good look and Blaine turns around to follow his husband.
After dinner both boys walk in their honeymoon suite again and Blaine quickly finds his way to the window again as if there's a magnet pulling him close. Now the moon shines bright, reflecting in the ocean. "Can we go stargazing again?" the smaller man asks still amazed by the view. If the view from their room is that beautiful, how will it be to lay on the beach and look up to the stars?
"Of course" the other man answers, smiling at how adorable his husband is. Not only now but always.
He really loves his husband. They're together for about eight years now and Blaine always did everything in Kurts pace, never complaining. If crowds got to much for him Blaine left with him. If Kurt had an appointment for a check up which he usually hates, Blaine went with him. They never did more than making out becasue Kurt wasn't sure if he was ready and Blaine jsut went with it and took what Kurt offered, not pushing him for more.
Kurt walks up to his man, hugging him from behind again. Blaine waited. 25 years of his life. 8 of them with Kurt together. Kurt couldn't imagine someone with more patience than his husband.
The taller boy takes a deep breath and then says "Blaine?", his voice barely over a whisper. "Yes honey?" Blaine asks under his breath and still using the same pet name he did in high school. "I think I'm ready. For sex I mean" the taller man says, taking the other one by surprise. "Are you sure?" he asks just to be sure but Kurt nods determined "I am".
With a soft smile Blaine turns around and leans in to kiss his husband. "I am so proud of you" he says, planting a kiss on his husbands lips after each word. "I love you" Kurt manages to say before laying his lips on Blaines again. "I love you too" Blaine mumbles in the kiss.
On one kiss follows another one and one more while slowly stumbling over to the bed and falling in. Slowly and between thousands of kisses one piece of fabric after another lands on the ground. It's wonderful, better than ever imagined and filled with so much love.
The end.
