"DAMMIT CROW!" Keishin choke-holded the ravenette the next day. "WHY ARE YOU GOING OFF AND GETTING HURT ALL WILLY NILLY?!"

"None of your business."

"YOU'RE ONE OF MY PLAYERS SO THAT MAKES IT MY BUSINESS! I SWEAR, I'M GONNA CALL UP TENMA AND GET HIM TO SCOLD YOU SO YOU'LL ACTUALLY REFLECT ON YOURSELF FOR ONCE!"

"Ha, good luck with that," Crow's entire demeanor darkened, which actually scared the coach enough to release him. "Tenma won't be answering your calls anymore," the ravenette muttered as he straightened himself out, then walked over to the stage.

"What..." Keishin's eyebrows knit together in confusion, reaching for his phone inside his pocket. When he called Tenma's number, someone who was definitely not Tenma answered.

"Miyagi police department."

"What the hell happened?!" Keishin demanded of Crow a few moments later, having brought him outside and shoved him against the wall. "Did you seriously kill Tenma, you bastard?!"

"I think you're forgetting something, Keishin," the second year's eyes were dead as he glared at his cousin. "Just because I'm injured doesn't mean I won't-" He slammed his knee into the coach's gut. "-Beat your ass for disrespecting me. You wanna know what happened?" Crow grabbed the man's collar, bringing their faces together so Keishin could see, could feel, how angry the ravenette was. "Yakuza showed up at the apartment and forced Tenma to try and kill me. Instead of doing that, he stabbed himself and died on the spot. These injuries," Crow's eyes narrowed with a glint. "Are from getting revenge. Got a problem now, you fucker?"

"N-no," Keishin stammered. "I'm sorry."

"Yeah," the ravenette dropped his hold on the man's collar, allowing him to fall to the ground. "Tenma was too." With that, he walked back into the gym, hopped up on the stage and laid down with his arm over his face. A few people looked concerned as Keishin came back in a few seconds later, limping. However, every time someone glanced over at where Crow lied, Kiyoko would step in front of him with a serious expression on her face.

That deterred most of the lookers, and so several days passed like that. At the end of the week, Kiyoko came to the gym a bit late. "Hey, do you have a moment?" She called from the door, causing everyone to glance her way. Behind her, a young girl peaked out.

"So you found a new person!" Hinata exclaimed, causing the new person to flinch and start trembling even more than she already had been. Crow moved so that he was on his side with his head propped up on his arm. He'd seen her in the hall once, from what he recalled. There was also an incident, but it hadn't been all that serious so he barely remembered it.

"Nani nani?" Tanaka jogged up to the two along with Suga and Noya.

"What's going on?" Nishi asked with a smile.

"Um, she's joining the team on a trial basis as the new manager," Kiyoko explained as she looked at the girl, who quickly and loudly introduced herself.

"I-I'M YACHI HITOKA!"

"Seriously? That's awesome!" Suga beamed as the rest of the team gathered around. Crow didn't bother to move from the stage, though.

"Nice job Shimizu-senpai!"

"You're a first year?" Asahi asked, leaning down a bit as he addressed Yachi, who looked like she was about to pass out.

"I-I'M IN CLASS 1-5, SIR!" She shrieked as formally as she could.

"Asahi, get your ass over here," Crow hollered, causing the manbun to frown but do as told. "You're scaring her dude, remember that you look almost as scary as yakuza do," Crow flicked the man's forehead, making him wince as he smiled sheepishly.

"Oh, I forgot.. I guess I'll just stay over here with you."

"Good idea."

"She hasn't actually joined yet," Kiyoko reiterated. "I suddenly asked her today to come by before her committee meeting, so she's just dropping in to say hi today," She finished, and then the new prospective manager bowed.

"I-it's a pleasure to meet you."

"Same!" The team reverberated as they also bowed to her, which made her flinch and gasp and look to Kiyoko for help.

"Could you not surround her like that until she's more comfortable?"

"Back up already, you're sufficating her with your enthusiasm," Crow called as Asahi was sitting next to him. "You don't wanna chase her away already, do you?"

"No.." Many sulked and moved away as Kiyoko apologized to Yachi for the fright. However, the new girl's eyes were on the man laying on the stage. She knew it was Crow, the person who had saved her and the whole reason she had come to Karasuno. It wasn't time yet, but she would give her proper thanks some other time, and would do her best to repay him.

"Sorry for the intrusion..." Yachi smiled nervously, sliding the door closed and then wobbled off to her committee meeting.

"Shimizu, so you were looking for a new manager, huh?" Daichi smiled as Kiyoko nodded to him.

"I thought we didn't get enough responses when we tried to find people in April," She explained. "I thought it was important to find someone to carry on as manager, especially with Karasuno getting so much stronger."

Suddenly, almost everyone burst into tears at her sincerity. "KIYOKO!!!"

"My ears. Stop."

"QUIT BEING SO UNGRATEFUL, CROW!"

"YEAH, YOU'RE BEING LAZY WHILE SHIMIZU-SENPAI IS WORKING HARD! SHOW SOME RESPECT!"

"It's fine," Kiyoko giggled, shaking her head. "It's important to get rest when you're injured, so if he were dojng anything more, I'd have to stop him."

"Oh, right." It seemed everyone had forgotten that the ravenette was injured, causing him to let out a sigh and roll back onto his back. Keishin soon came in as well, looking a bit discombobulated. No one really commented, so with that, practice went underway.

The entire time, Crow boredly watched as everyone worked their asses off to improve their skills. Of course, during the six-on-fives, he would be called upon to ref so that Keishin could focus on watching and coaching anything he saw that the players could fix.

Finally, practice was over and everyone headed home.
