We cheered as 12AM finished their performance for a school concert. Ashi wasn't able to make it because she had other plans but the girls still did great without her.
Para kaming bumalik sa high school. Jenna was the lead singer but they were missing the crowds' favorite guitarist, Magui.
"Hurry up, hinihintay na tayo nila Ashi!" I hurried them up because Ashi kept on texting me.
We rode to our respective cars since we didn't use the van. I was with Cleo and we ordered take-out first sa Shakeys before we went to Magui's brother's abandoned building. It was already nighttime and we found the two laying down while pointing at the stars.
"We're here!" Gia yelled and the two stood up from their lone moment.
It's been months since we had a getaway! Sobrang bantay sarado kasi ng management kina Magui and Ashi. They were really making sure that the two would stop hanging out. It did help them rise from their respective careers but it was just too lonely for them.
Kami yung nalulungkot sa tuwing nakikita namin silang nagiiwasan sa bahay. We aren't complete in the table, we can't even hangout together. Times were more simpler before Magui became a recording artist. Hindi ko naman siya masisi since she really needed the money for Solace.
"Ano mayroon, today?" Savannah asked as she started to place more blankets on the floor.
Ashi invited us to have a dinner picnic here since this is our usual tambayan back in high school. A lot of good memories happened here like Ashi and Magui's first dinner date. Maganda ang pagkakatayo ng building na ito because you can clearly watch the sunset and have a beautiful view of the stars. Malapit lang rin ito sa garden na madalas naming lakaran before. Late-night walks, ganun.
"It's our anniversary today," Magui answered.
The girls and I looked at each other. We didn't know how to react. Ashi and Magui's anniversary is a bittersweet memory for us all.
"Happy anniversary, you two!" Malia cheered and hugged both of them.
She even sang happy anniversary in a happy birthday tone.
We ate together as we played our favorite game that Gia and Malia invented, truth or jengga.
We sat in a circle and we let the two love birds go first.
"If you could dedicate a song to your special someone, what would it be?" Magui read her question.

Magui sang her first single as she stared into Ashi's eyes.
Savannah, Gia, and I can't stop hitting each other.
"Stop me! Kinikilig ako." Savannah reacted because of so much kilig.
"Nilalanggam ako, ha!" Gia added.
"Oo na, kayo na sweet. Pwede next na?" Malia playfully rolled her eyes.
"Panira ka ng moment!" Ashi pointed at Malia before she took a jengga piece.
