"A midnight camp?!" Jungkook asked with eyes blown wide.

"Why? What's wrong Jungkook? Don't you look like it?" Jimin asked.

"It's only for tonight Jungkook, we won't stay there for a week," Hoseok added.

All six of them are in the living room, giving suggestions as to what they should do tonight. Taehyung was the one who suggested camping this midnight since it is a full moon. He'd always wanted to camp, especially when the dark sky is full of stars and the moon is shining brightly down at them.

Seeing as Jungkook hasn't fully adapted to eating animal flesh yet, he was the only one to react violently to the idea that seemed dangerous to him. Well, because he is the danger and the last thing he wants is to be near his loved ones during a full moon.

"I-it's not that I don't like it." He said, eyes instantly finding Ayla's blue orbs. When he did, he already saw her looking at him blankly.

"Then? If it's your first time wouldn't it be great?" Taehyung asked with a smile, appearing excited already even if it's still noon and midnight is still far.

"We don't have to go if you don't feel like camping," Jimin told Jungkook softly. The younger immediately shakes his head

"No, you should go. You can't miss the fun." Jungkook immediately refuses.

"And you're fine missing it?" Jimin didn't like the idea of leaving Jungkook alone while they all had fun.

"If you're scared of the dark then don't worry because we're with you!" Issy said with her thumbs raised.

"Eyy! That's the spirit coffee bean!" Hoseok gave her a high-five which she happily received. "Maybe your Jungkook-oppa is a scaredy-cat. Man, that's a turn-off." Hoseok teased, earning a raised brow from the said man.

If only they knew. Jungkook was never scared of the dark.

"Why don't you come, Jungkook?" Ayla caught everyone's attention, especially Jungkook's. She's been staying quiet for a while now, listening to the others give out their suggestions and only staring at the younger. Jungkook returned her stares with a stoic expression.

He tried to read her expression but failed when she remained calm and composed. Everyone turned their heads to Jungkook and waited for his answer.

"I'm fine. I'll wait for you guys here. Don't let me ruin your night. Just stay safe and come back when you're done." He looked away from Ayla and to the others.

"Oh but it would be ruined without you. Right, Jimin? Better keep an eye on your boyfriend at times when he refuses to be with you." Ayla pushed on, looking at Jimin with a smile. Jimin's face twisted into confusion and annoyance. He didn't like what Ayla said, not one bit.

He understands what she was trying to say. She means Jungkook going out and eyeing other men or women while he's not around. The idea never crossed his mind. He never thought of Jungkook that way. So when Ayla said those words, he couldn't help but give her a death stare.

"Jungkook's not like that, Ayla." He said bitterly.

"It's okay hyung," Jungkook calmed the older. He looked back at Ayla with a cold gaze before forcing a smile. "Let's prepare for the night then." He smiled at the others.

The others nodded and began leaving the room. Jungkook and Jimin were left sitting in the living room. The others might not know but Jungkook is aware that they feel caught in between his and Ayla's tension that blankets the room in eerie silence. He didn't mean for them to be stuck in between, he wanted to resolve this problem with Ayla, but no matter how much he tried to make small conversations with her, she remained hostile.
