3rd POV
"Where's Jungkook?" Ayla asked as she roamed her eyes around, peeking at the kitchen and then at the bathroom.
Hoseok scrunched his nose as he watched Ayla search the bathroom. "Why'd you open the door?" He asked. Ayla looked at him innocently before shrugging.
"To know if he's there or not?" she replied.
"Yeah, but why would you open it when you could just knock?" he said sarcastically. Ayla rolled her eyes and continued to look for Jungkook and went to the rooftop of the cafe. Her eyes scanned the area and found no tall muscular man. She went back down and searched for the man in his room, but later on, went out unsuccessfully.
They went home today from the island and arrived at the break of dawn. As soon as they arrived at the town, jet lag immediately coursed through their bodies.
They hurriedly went home and the minute they stepped onto the second floor of the cafe, they all toppled to the floor, one on top of each other with Jimin at the very top and Issy at the side, away from the adults.
They went to their own rooms and did a quick bath before changing and flopping onto the bed, instantly swallowed by their exhaustion.
From five in the morning to seven in the evening, all were sound asleep. And now that they have slept most of the day, they regained their energy and are now awake at night. Hoseok and Tae were watching a movie while Jimin's upstairs in front of his laptop accompanied by the soft melody Issy was playing with her Kalimba.
Ayla, on the other hand, is looking for Jungkook who's missing.
"Ugh! Where the hell is that muttonhead!" She grumbled under her breath, stomping her way to Jimin's room before opening the door rather harshly. Issy's fingers halted from plucking the keys of her instrument and Jimin turned in her direction, noticing the scowl on her face that instantly affected the atmosphere in his room.
She sat roughly on his bed and rested both her legs on the soft mattress, crossing her arms and glaring forward as if Jungkook was right in front of her.
"Uhhh. . ." Jimin uttered. He cleared his throat before speaking, "Can we help you? You look like you're ready for war. Just don't bring the war here." Jimin said and swiveled back to face his laptop. Ayla eyed the small man before looking at Issy, who was staring at her before resuming playing.
She took a deep breath and released a sigh before uncrossing her arms and reclining her head on the neatly stacked pillow she was leaning on.
"It's nothing. I was just looking for Jungkook. He's too big to be able to hide and I have searched all four floors and still no shadow of him." She said with a grunt. "Have you seen him? I should've asked you the minute I started looking for that mutt." She asked, lifting her head and facing the man who was focused on the screen.
"Mhmm." Jimin hummed in response. "He told me on the plane that he'd go straight to his house and visit his neighbor. He hasn't visited them in a while and he also told me he'd rest there for at least three days." Jimin said, filling her with the information she's been meaning to know.
"Do you know where he lives?" Ayla asked. Jimin turned to her with a raised brow and narrowed eyes.
"If I say I do, what would you do?" Jimin asked.
Ayla scoffed. "In short, you don't know." Jimin rolled his eyes and shook his head and swiveled back to face his laptop.
She stood up and walked to the door. "I'll go out for a while. Be back by midnight or past." She informed the man before leaving.
