Jungkook's POV

"Crescent island here we are!!" Issy shouted in joy as she ran bare feet on the white sand, holding on to her sun hat from getting swept away by the wind. Hoseok and Taehyung took their luggage and headed first to the villa owned by Jimin's parents.

"Crescent island? Is that the name?" I asked Jimin who gave me a nod. "Why crescent?"

"A-duh! Because the island's crescent-shaped. Could you be more stupid than that?" Ayla scoffed from beside me.

"Get away from me, I'm not talking to you." I pushed her away with a little force and immediately hid behind Jimin when her face twisted into anger. I held onto Jimin's shoulders and stayed near him. There's no way Ayla can hurt Jimin, he's my only escape since the couple doesn't give a damn about what Ayla does to me.

"Don't you even dare to stay 2 feet away from him or you'll find yourself in the middle of the sea." She threatened while pointing her index finger at me. She glanced at Jimin and winked at him before glaring back at me. "Issy's mine for the whole vacation," she said and ran off to Issy who's playing near the shore.

I turned to the driver and helped him take our luggage. As soon as we were done I took Jimin's hands in mine and pulled him with me.

"W-why are you holding my hand?" He asked, looking down at our hands clasped together.

"You heard what the she-devil said to me. I don't plan to swim with sharks."

"Yeah, but you don't have to hold hands with me."

I frowned at what he said and glanced at him. "Do you hate it that much?" I pulled him closer and saw his cheeks flush.

"I-I never said that."

"Stay close to me. Don't be two feet away from me."

"Why shouldn't I? That's a threat to you, not to me."

"Aish! I don't wanna die early. So you should protect me if you still want to see me." I said and unclasped our hands, moving my arm over his shoulder.

He looked at my arm and glared at me. "Yah! Aren't you getting too brazen? I'm your boss, you handsome devil." he said, mumbling the last three words which I clearly heard.

"Boss? We're not at work so you're not my boss."

"Whatever. I'm still older than you."

"Let's go then," I leaned close to his ear. "Hyung."

"Stop it!" he shouted and covered his ears, trying to move away as much as possible, but couldn't because of my arms wrapped over his shoulder.

"You're not going anywhere but by my side. There's no use staying away, hyung. I'll only pull you close if you do so." he chose to stay silent on our way and when I glanced at him, his whole face was all red. He couldn't even control his fast heartbeats that seemed like any moment would burst out of his chest.

We reached the villa and placed our luggage in the living room. Hoseok and Tae went to explore the luxurious house while Ayla and Issy disappeared into the kitchen. Jimin plopped down on the sectional sofa and leaned his head on the backrest. I sat next to him and did the same.

"You're not gonna check out the villa?" he asked, staring at the white ceiling.

"No," I replied shortly.

"You should. Go pick your room and fix your stuff. There are six rooms in total; three upstairs, two here, and one downstairs. Three of them are master bedrooms and those are the ones upstairs. If you want a room with a balcony, there are four rooms, just—"
