3rd POV

"Are you ready?" Jungkook asked Jimin while closing the zip of his bag. Jimin sighed before hugging Jungkook from behind, pressing his cheeks on Jungkook's back. "What's wrong, kitten?" The younger turned to cup Jimin's cheeks. Seeing his adorable expression.

"Kitten? Since when did you decide to call me that? I'm not a kitten." The older frowned. Jungkook chuckled and planted a kiss on Jimin's forehead.

"But you look like one." Jimin's brow arched.

"So are we cats and dogs now? Just call me baby, I like that one better." Jungkook smirked before nuzzling his nose against Jimin's, making the latter giggle and close his eyes which turned into small crescents. The kind of smile that makes Jungkook go crazy.

"You want to be my baby huh?"

"I'm your baby~"

"Well then baby, you should stop doing that before I throw you on the bed and never let you leave because right now, I want you all to myself." Jungkook whispered. He earned a playful slap from the older, making him laugh. "We should go now. We've stayed here long enough." Jungkook placed his hands on Jimin's waist and turned the older around, pushing him gently to the door.

But before the younger could open the door, Jimin turned around with a worried expression on his face. He does want to leave the beach, he's been dying to leave the place but. . . he's more worried about Jungkook and what the others might say and do to him.

"H-how about you?"

"What about me, baby?" Jimin fiddled with his fingers, different negative possible scenarios running in his mind.

"A-a-are you ready?" He looked at Jungkook in worry. Jungkook saw the worry pooling in Jimin's orbs. He might not be showing it to the older but he is worried and anxious. He doesn't know how he will face all of them, especially Issy and Ayla. He may not have a face to show them anymore.

He's afraid that the three will hate him and shun him. He's afraid that Ayla will draw a clear line between him and all of them. . . including Jimin. But he remained calm and composed in front of Jimin, he didn't want the older to worry about him. All he wants is for Jimin to return to his friends and finally feel safe and protected. Jungkook thinks he cannot fully protect Jimin anymore.

And so he showed Jimin a smile that could wash away all Jimin's worries.

"I'm more than ready, Jimin. I have kept this secret for years already. Now that you guys know about it, I feel like a heavy burden lifted off of my chest." He said, wanting Jimin to feel assured.

The heavy burden Jungkook is talking about is still there. It only became heavier now that they are going back. He doesn't even know where to begin once he sees all of them. He doesn't know how to apologize to Issy. He has no idea what to say and how to explain himself. He sure is lucky that Jimin forgave him and accepted him.

Jimin knew better than to believe, he knows the younger is nervous and scared. He pulled Jungkook into a hug. Jimin buried his face in Jungkook's chest, inhaling his manly scent that he will and can never forget.

"Just know that I am on your side, Jungkook. I'll be here with you. Whatever's waiting for you, for us, back there. I'll stay by your side. I got your back, Kook-ah." Jimin said before pulling away a bit and pulling Jungkook's face to give him an encouraging and loving kiss. "I love you Jungkook. Mark that in your head and never forget it." Jimin pulled away and went downstairs, leaving Jungkook to follow after.

Jungkook gulped before a bright red color crept on his cheeks. A smile stretched slowly on his lips before his nervousness was replaced by encouragement. He went out of the house to see Jimin waiting for him with a smile. The older stretched out his hand for Jungkook to take so that they could leave the place together. Jungkook took it and placed a kiss on the back of Jimin's palm.
