Jimin's POV

I'm hungry.

Like really hungry.

I haven't eaten anything for a day and a half already and I've grown thin. All that keeps me alive is the faucet water that I'm trying to endure. I also haven't gotten out of this house. My reasons would be because I don't want to deal with the wolf outside that's guarding me 24/7  and because this house somehow feels homey.

It does not have any food in it and there's nothing much I could do, no picture frames as well so I have no idea who lives here or who's maintaining this house. But, the ambiance of this place strangely makes me feel like I'm home.

I have already looked over all the places this house could have. There's not much since it is a small two-story house.

I sighed when my stomach grumbled from hunger for the nth time. At least a fruit would do. I stood up from the bed and changed my clothes, borrowing the clothes from the closet before I went down and out of the house.

I looked around, from left to right, and saw no signs of that black-furred wolf.

Did it leave? My heart flipped from joy and excitement, thinking I could finally go back to my friends.

But wait. What if. . what if it's just there inside the forest? What if it just left to lure me out of the house? Aish! You damn bloody wolf!

But I have to at least try to escape. I just have to find the right timing. I have to be stealthy if I want to have a smooth escape out of here.

With that encouragement, I started heading back to the forest. But of course, I am blind not to see and stupid to think I could actually escape.

I was only five steps away from the house when the wolf emerged from beside the house, making me jump in surprise and fall on my butt.

"Shit!— Aish!" I cursed while holding my chest and trying to calm my heart that almost jumped out of my chest. "YAH! Can you not do that! You almost gave me a heart attack!" I shouted and stood up, dusting my butt and hand to remove the sand particles. I only began to comprehend what I had just done when the wolf snorted and began walking toward me again.

On instinct, I put my hands in front of me as a defense.

"Wait! Stay right there!" I told the wolf, and to my surprise, the wolf did stop and stayed where it was. "I'm only going to get food. I'm hungry, okay? I haven't eaten for years. So. . . could you let me find something to eat?" I wasn't lying, I am going to search for food since I'm really hungry. But of course, escape will always be part of all my excuses. No one would want to stay in hell longer than they should be.

The wolf tilted its head and stared at me.

Does it not know what I'm saying? No, wait. In the first place, why am I even talking to this animal?

It won't understand me anyway, all it knows is to eat, kill, and do whatever the hell it wants without caring about the people it hurts and damages because it listens to no one!

"No no no no, wait!" "JUNGKOOK, STOP!"

"Wait! Stay right there!"

. . .

It's only doing what I'm saying because it wants to earn my trust! It doesn't want me to leave that's why this wolf is giving me reasons for me to stay— as if I want to stay! I never wanted to be this wolf's prisoner! I want to go home and this wolf won't stop me!

The wolf then turned around and began pulling something from behind it. I backed away a little and tried to peek to see what it was pulling. Don't tell me. . . it's not a dead body. . right? Because if it is, I'd just lock myself in the house and never go out. I'll be willing to give up hope just to be able to stay alive.
