"Hello?"

"Hi," his voice is cold and distant. Although it's close to 95 degrees today, I find myself shivering at his tone.

"Where did you go?" I ask.

"Just couldn't be there anymore," I hear him inhale and know that he probably went to go smoke somewhere.

He didn't take the car. Steven, Conrad, Jeremiah, and I all took the same car. and it's right in front of me.

"Oh," I say quietly. "I'm sorry, I didn't realize it was actually hard for you to be there."

"Claire," he sighs. I can picture him pressing his pointer finger and thumb to his temples as he closes his eyes.

"Where are you?" I ask.

"I just need some time to myself right now, okay?" His voice is soft now.

I hum a response, I'm not sure how to take his sudden change of mood but I can't be mad at him when I don't know what him and Laurel talked about. I nod, and realize he can't see me. "Okay," I sigh.

"Claire," he says quietly. "I'm not mad at you."

"Okay," I say again. "Talk to you later. Bye." I say, then hang up. I spin around and shrug my shoulders, "he just said he wanted to be alone."

     "Well," Jeremiah starts. "I have an idea," he smirks. "Actually, me and Steven came up with an idea."

"Steven and I, but okay. Go on.." I look between him and Steven, and groan when they both pinch up their face im disgust at my correction of their sentence. "Your ideas always get us in trouble!" I say instead of waiting for them.

Steven smiles, and nods. "Yeah, just get in the car. We'll explain it on the way!"

"Yeah, absolutely not." I snap. "Turn this car around right now."

"Sorry, no can do Claire-Bear. It's all fun and games, she won't care! We just want to see how Cam Cameron treats his dates!" Jere says.

"Jeremiah this is Belly's first date. This is really fucked up!" I'm screaming now.

     I know how excited Belly was for this date. It isn't fair for them to come and ruin this for her, she deserves a nice guy. She's been pinning for Jeremiah for as long as I can remember, the fact that he's the one that wasn't to ruin this for her makes my blood boil. If he likes her he can wait until she's done her to date to tell her, he doesn't need to go and ruin it while it's happening.

     Knowing the guys this plan is going to happen regardless of my arguing. I pull out my phone and shoot Belly a text giving her a warning.

i am so sorry, but Jeremiah and Steven kidnapped me and they're on their way to the drive in. they want to surprise you on your date. i tried to get them to turn around but you know them, i wanted to give you a heads up because we'll be there in five minutes.

     I'm not doing good right now. Not in the slightest. We just got home from crashing Belly's date, we were there for a total of five minutes before Belly shooed the guys away. They thought it was the funniest thing in the world. I felt so bad.
