Am I still relevant?
Anyways, I have an important announcement to make: I am making a new Ace story that still somewhat follows the plot of this one except for one crucial detail - want to guess what it is?
Now, while the plot will remain the same, my writing style has definitely improved over the years (it's been three years now since this fanfic was published after all), so that's the writing style I'll be using.
Nothing will really change other than the implied crucial detail and the writing style - the characters and their dynamics will be the same and the general plot before the changed crucial detail will be the same. I might make the reader a little less overpowered and change the perspective, though.
Of course, if you don't read this AU that I'm planning, it's perfectly fine, it changes nothing that happens in this fanfiction. The only reason I'm making this AU to my fanfiction is because Ace is my favourite anime character (ever since the age of nine!) and it felt wrong to give him a fanfic that doesn't do him right and I feel like my writing style has improved enough for me to do that. If you're involved in any of my other works, unfortunately I won't be making any other AUs to my fanfics - just this one.
If you're about to be like, "It's been three years, please retire," I WOULD'VE DONE THIS WHETHER I WAS PUBLISHING IT OR NOT. So, if you're interested in this at all, then the very first chapter is already published on AO3 (link in my bio) - I might publish it on Wattpad, but with a different title so the this one and the other one don't look like the same story (still thinking about what to call it though).
Even if you're not planning on reading it, the fact that you're even all the way over here at the end of the story means that you have supported me even through this chaos of a story, and for that, I thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
ANYWAYS, TO BE FINISHED: AN ETERNAL BOND (AU) AVAILABLE ON ARCHIVE OF OUR OWN (and maybe Wattpad if I think of an alternate title)
