((first proper chapter it's short as hell but can I get an amen))

Rory and Tyler sat on the sofa of Tyler's parents house, his arm slung around her shoulder as she sat with an uncomfortable feeling in the pit of her stomach.

Rory watched her phone light up with every snapchat from Michael. It wasn't that she didn't want to talk to him, it was the fact that her ásshole of a boyfriend 'forbid' her from talking to the blue haired boy.

Nobody understood why Rory stayed with Tyler, hell, Rory didn't understand why she stayed with Tyler after everything he had put her through. But, in a way, Rory depended on Tyler, even though he set her rules and controlled most aspects of her life, she needed him in some weird way.

"Babe, why is that idiot still snapchatting you? I thought I told you to delete him!" Tyler groaned, his hand gripping Rory's shoulder slightly. Rory cleared her throat,
"He won't replace you, Ty. He's just another face in the world, he doesn't mean a thing." Tyler sighed and pulled Rory onto his lap, he brushed the hair away from her neck and pressed his lips to the skin behind her ear.

"Baby, my parents aren't going to be home until eleven." Tyler whispered. Rory squirmed slightly, "Ty, not now." She whimpered, her small hands pushing against Tyler's chest as a few tears ran down her rosy cheeks. Tyler ignored her pleads and carried on, his arms moving to hold Rory's body against his.

"You're making me uncomfortable." Tyler moved away from Rory's neck and looked at her, a smirk plastered across his face.
"Get over yourself Rory, you're nothing special." Tyler laughed, his head lulling back to lean on the sofa.

Rory pulled her arms out of Tyler's grip and slapped his cheek, the sound of her skin connecting with his echoing throughout the room. Tyler clutched his cheek in disbelief, Rory took this as a chance to escape. She crawled away from Tyler, her legs pushing her faster than her mind could comprehend.

"You think you're so brave, don't you?" Tyler yelled, pushing himself off of the sofa as Rory yelped and grabbed her phone and scampered towards the front door; not caring for her worn down converse that sat by the door.

Tyler yelled and screamed after the purple haired girl but she ran. She ran until she felt as if her heart was going to shoot out of her chest and as if her lungs were burning. In a way, Rory was proud of herself for defending herself, even if it was just a slap around the face.

Once she had caught her breath, Rory sat on the curb, she wiped her eyes and pulled out her phone, unlocking the device and opening snapchat.
