CHAPTER 30: ORDINARY
MIREIA'S POV
Ibinaba ko ang hawak ko na libro at sinarado ko iyon. My body feels stiff since I've been sitting still for hours while I devoured the book that Lucienne gave me. Pangalawa na ang libro na binabasa ko sa bagong series niya.
The first one, her story, made me question my sanity quite a few times. Wala kasi akong ginawa kundi ang tumawa nang tumawa. The second though gave me a mixed feeling. Gusto kong kamayan si Lucienne sa pagbuo ng kuwento na ilang beses akong naiyak at namangha, at the same time hindi ko alam kung paano kong haharapin sina Lia at Gun. Those bed scenes were more than intense. Kung nagliliyab ang mga ganoong senaryo sa ibang mga libro na nabasa ko, iyong kaila Lia parang mas tamang sabihin na bumubuga ng apoy. Bagay talagang tawagin sila na Dragon Couple.
"Done?"
Nilingon ko si Axel na nasa kabilang dulo ng sofa na kinauupuan ko. Nakapatong sa mga hita niya ang mga binti ko. Katulad ko ay nagbabasa rin siya pero sigurado ako na trabaho ang nasa hawak niya na tablet.
"Not yet. But I'm pretty sure that your siblings will barge in here anytime now." Inginuso ko ang wall clock. "It's almost dinner time."
Bumuntong-hininga si Axel. He looked at the direction of the bed. "I'll ask them to leave."
"Hayaan mo lang sila. Gising na ako."
Napailing na lang ako nang makita ko si Naynay na kanina ay nakapikit pa sa kama niya na ngayon ay nakatingin na sa amin. Nitong mga nakaraan kasi ay nakagawian na ng pamilya ni Axel na dito na sa bahay ni Axel maghapunan. To be exact, dito sa kwarto ni Naynay.

He and I shared a bond that grew on that day we purposely let Steven and Cristobal Castañeda abduct us. Axel was needed elsewhere that day, and they didn't think he should be with me. I don't think anyone that has seen me and Axel could deny that we are together, and Dagger doesn't want to risk the possibility that it could trigger the perpetrator.
All of the Dawson men volunteered to go with me, but Pierce didn't gave them a choice. His words were, "Mireia is one of the most important person in my wife's life and that means she's important to me too. She loves you all, but aside from Axel, do you think Belaya will trust Mireia with anyone else?".
