THAT NIGHT
The servants had made them dinner. Emi, Madara and Indra were all sitting at their dinner table. Hashirama promised to keep the secret from Madara, so Emi could make the announcement.
"How was work Madara?"
"It was good. We've set up meetings with the Inuzuka, Auburame, Nara, Akimichi and Yamanaka Clan's. After wards we will discuss a village leader." Madara said.
"I'd imagine Hashirama will take the position." Emi said.
"I hope so." Madara said, 'I can't even get my son to listen to me. Let alone an entire damn village.'
"Indra. How do you like your genin team?" Emi asked.
"I like it." Indra said quietly.
"Who's on your team?" Emi asked, as she had yet to met them.
"Two guys and a girl. We are training under Tobirama Senju." Indra answered.
"At least you like it." Emi said.
"What's going on with you mom?" Indra asked, he knew something was up. His mother was never this talkative or cheerful.
"Well actually, I'm glad you asked, Indra." Emi smiled.
Madara raised an eyebrow as he looked at his wife.
"We're having another baby!" Emi said excitedly.
"I'm going to be a big brother?" Indra asked.
Madara's eyes widened in surprise for a second, then he smiled a small smile. He hadn't expected it to happen this fast.
"Hashirama said that I'm about a month in. He agreed to let me make the announcement."
"It's great news, my love." Madara said as the family peacefully finished their dinner in a comfortable silence.
