THE WEAPONS KNOWN AS SHINOBI
"The mist is starting to clear." I said as I held my kunai close.
"Mhm!" Sakura said back, as she held hers close as well.
It was mostly a blur, we saw one go after the other, but then someone got in the way of a killing blow.
My eyes widened seeing Haku defend Zabuza from Kakashi's attack.
Sakura gasped.
"Huh! What? Where'd he go!?" Naruto questioned as he looked around.
"Isn't that? The young man in the mask?" Tazuna asked as I nodded.
"The boy threw himself in front of my attack. He saved your worthless life, at the cost of his own." Kakashi explained.
"Well done Haku." Zabuza praised. "Not only have you given me my life, but Kakashi's as well!"
He went for the attack, but Kakashi dodged.
Zabuza laughed. "Not bad for having a corpse in your arms."
"You'll pay for that!" Naruto yelled.
"No! Stay out of this Naruto!" Kakashi ordered as he laid Haku's body down. "This is my battle. Zabuza's mine."
"Naruto? Naruto! Over here! Naruto! So you and Sasuke are alright?" Sakura yelled.
My eyes widened when Naruto wouldn't met my eyes.
"What's wrong? Where is Sasuke anyway?" Sakura asked.
I dropped my kunai and went running to where I knew my brother was.
"Hotaru!" Kakashi yelled.
I got to his body and held his hand.
It wasn't long that Sakura and Tazuna joined me.
Sakura pulled his body from my arms and started screaming and crying.
I don't know how much time had passed, when Gato made his appearance with an army.
A/N: So, I was babysitting my niece when she drowned my phone. 😂 I literally just got my new phone today, so I'm gonna try to update all stories!
