"Hyung."

Namjoon tilts his head at the maknae, wonder in those kind eyes of his. He always looks at Jungkook in that way, so nice and patient.

"Hm?" he hums low in response. Jungkook inhales deep to gather his courage, and then—

"Will you teach me how to kiss?"

It's nearing late winter and Jungkook would kill to have some hot chocolate right about now.

He loves everything about winter; the way it makes people's noses and ears red or the way it brings a smile to their faces once they see their breath in the cold air, the first snowfall of the year that makes children shout in excitement, and couples kiss as the white specs fall over their hair, the way the snow sets the perfect atmosphere for cuddling by a fireplace or partners giving sweet kisses to try and warm each other up.

Jungkook's always wanted to cuddle up close to someone and kiss the cold away, but he's never gotten his first real kiss before and at this rate, he won't get it for a while– nothing other than little pecks when he was just a kid. He's stuck kissless.

"Yah! That was the last piece!"

It's Seokjin who's yelling out of frustration as Jimin quickly steals the last piece of meat on his plate. Seokjin doesn't complain anymore, though, as Jimin's lips tug into a cheeky and playful smile.

"You two are so loud," Yoongi says from across the room.

He's been sitting at the dining table for nearly two hours now, his laptop in front of him and a blank expression on his face. Both Seokjin and Jimin mock at him and tell him it's their home too, but Yoongi ignores them and continues with whatever it is he's doing on that old laptop of his.

Jungkook is sitting with the two in the living room. They were watching a drama together and eating lunch while Taehyung was off doing god knows what and Namjoon and Hoseok were in their studios— unlike Yoongi, who for some reason decided to stay at home and work today.

They were on a little winter break for once and it felt nice. It felt nice to not get up so early in the morning for soundchecks, for schedules on end, or concerts that would leave them so tired that they'd pass out at their hotels and sometimes opt on not eating dinner at all because of it.

Jungkook was glad to have this little break.

But the break only left the boys sitting at home or some even still working. Nothing could keep the rapline out of the studios, it seemed. But the others were relaxing and going off to see their families or doing things like Taehyung, who suddenly started a bunch of new hobbies all at once.

Jungkook decided to stay at home during most of their break.

It's winter! It's too cold to go out!

Besides, he's too introverted and doesn't really have any plans worthy of making. He'd rather stay at the dorms and lounge around. He'd rather listen to his soft wintery music and take a warm bubble bath to eliminate all worries from his mind. Truly, taking a warm bath during the winter was the closest thing he could get to living out other people's lives– the people who have loved ones to cuddle up to and kiss this season.

It does bother Jungkook, though. Jungkook wants the experience. He wants to know what it's like to be with someone or to kiss someone and figure out what it is he wants in a partner. He's never had the chance to know.
