  They were young.

  Seokjin knows that they were young.

  But he was so in love with Jeon Jungkook. When they met for the first time, they were in college. There was a cafe nearby and Seokjin's best friends Namjoon and Yoongi had asked him if he wanted to hang out with them there. But he wasn't expecting there to be anyone else sitting in the booth with his friends.

  The guy was unfamiliar. His hair was straight and dark, nearly covering his eyes. And his eyes... they were wide open as he sipped through the straw of his coffee, almost like he was in a daze as Yoongi was speaking and moving his hands in the air to express what he was going on about. The guy's outfit looked almost identical to Yoongi's— all black. Black pants, black t-shirt, black bomber jacket. His hair nearly matched it all as well. He was covered dark all over, yet as he suddenly started laughing at whatever it was that Yoongi had said, his smile lit up everything.

  As Seokjin hesitantly stepped closer, those once wide eyes glanced up at him and the smile that was gleaming before slowly faded as he noticed the stranger approaching. Seokjin noticed that his eyes were dark as well. Dark and curious as they scanned him.

  "Who's this?" Seokjin asked as he slid into the booth next to Namjoon.

  "Oh, you've not met Jungkook?" Namjoon questioned, his own eyes widening. But his eyes weren't like the guy— Jungkook's eyes. They weren't silently observing him like Jungkook's was. Namjoon's lips were parted in shock, but they were nothing like Jungkook's, who had his bottom cherry-tinted lip tucked under his teeth into a bite. "This is Jeon Jungkook, hyung. He's got some damn good vocals."

  Seokjin hummed as he scanned right back at the boy who had curious, chocolatey eyes. "Jeon Jungkook. Nice to meet you." With his words, Jungkook comfortably placed his chin in his palm and smiled.

  "Nice to meet you..."

  "Kim Seokjin," he finished for him, smiling away as well. He had no idea how much this boy with his curious, chocolatey eyes would ruin him someday.

  But they were young.

  It wasn't Seokjin's fault, that he'd started asking around about Jungkook, too curious for his own good. Namjoon and Yoongi talked so nicely about Jungkook. They said so many good things that it made him ten times more curious.

  He's an amazing singer.

  Jungkook works like a beast in the gym. We go there together a lot, but I've never seen someone so passionate about it.

  That boy has people drooling over him in every corner of this university. He's single, though, as of right now. Why do you ask? Hmm?

  Seokjin shouldn't have asked.
