Moving to a little log cabin in the Golden Elf Woods might have been the best decision that Kim Seokjin has ever made.
The cabin is small, but still big enough for Seokjin to do all the necessary things like live his life and set up all of his ingredients and a potion-making station. There's an open space by the living room that he has deemed both his favorite part of the cabin and also the best place for him to set up his station. Making potions is something he's always loved to do and it's how he makes a living.
Being a witch has its ups and downs. Some people are unsure of whether he's a "good person" while others are eager to buy all sorts of potions from him. That was back in his old village. Now, he lives in a forest mostly populated by elves. He thinks he must be the only witch in the area, so he wonders if he'll sell more potions than he usually did back at home.
The area is nice from what he's seen so far. The woods are beautiful and very green. Stone pathways lead into the main parts of the forest where tiny shops are set up in stone or wooden cabins. There's a post office, a grocery shop for food and drinks, a small library, a little playground next to a daycare, and a man has set up a carpentry shop out of his home not too far from Seokjin's new cabin. There are more shops, but that's all Seokjin had the chance to explore before moving in. All he needed was the food and mailing places, anyway.
Being a witch, he has to have some specific ingredients shipped and mailed to him out here in the woods so he can make his potions. He tries this out for the first time this week— his first week living here. A few days after ordering the ingredients, he goes and checks the mailing office for any packages only to find out none have been delivered yet.
Now that he finds himself out in the center of the forest, he figures he might as well look around for a while. He has the time to spare. Besides, he needs to buy some food to stock up on. So, he goes around to look at all the places– from the grocery shop to the decently large park– just to see what's happening there.
Elves are walking around everywhere. Most of them have long, gorgeous hair with a few braids in it and some have shorter locks that show off their pointed ears better. He also sees other creatures like a small werewolf child running after an even smaller elf child, playing happily. Earlier, he saw a regular human in the shop, so it's not only elves who live in the area, just mostly.
Seokjin stays in the park for a few minutes, simply observing the people he's going to be living nearby for however long he plans to stay. He was in his last village for nearly thirty years (yes, he uses a spell to make himself immortal just like most beings in this world. He'll stay young forever in this forest).
