But trust isn't the only thing Jungkook feels when his alpha brushes his lips against his bare neck and asks, "Can I mark you as mine, sweetheart?"

This will be a long Saturday.

Jungkook has a shit ton of things to do today and he's not happy about it at all.

Firstly, he'd moved in with his boyfriend and alpha— Seokjin— only recently, so after waking up early this morning and eventually slipping out of his alpha's arms, he started today by washing away the drowsiness on his face and brushing his teeth to feel accomplished enough; today he has a list of things that he'd been putting off or that was scheduled last minute— some scheduled on yesterday of all days.

The first thing he does is make coffee. He doesn't usually drink it, but he knows what kind of day is ahead of him and if kissing his alpha good morning earned him half the energy of this early morning run, the coffee would fill that other half of needed boost.

After finishing the coffee, he sets out on his long day.

He mails something to a long-distance friend, goes to a clothing store to look for some more work clothes because it's very much needed, and has to ignore the weird feeling in his gut when he goes to the baby's section to look for a gift for his friend's baby's first birthday.

That section of the store makes the omega's gut feel all swirly and in his mind, he can't help but think about it tons as an omega himself— being here to buy clothes for his own baby someday— but the thought is ripped away once Jungkook chooses a few baby shirts and rushes away from the area.

After finally buying himself some clothes and having the gift for his friend's child, he has to go to a different store and buy a mug— a very specific one which is baby blue (he doesn't necessarily have to buy it, but he was with Seokjin when the alpha had gotten it and somehow Jungkook broke it a few days ago and the alpha hasn't noticed yet, so Jungkook was on a mission to keep it that way).

The mug was in his hands now.

He got himself some lunch and then finally went to end his day with two more things: one being visiting his parents because they called yesterday and talked about how much they missed him, and so he promised he'd come over and two being grocery shopping for a few things— he bought mostly quick things to make because he and Seokjin both were burnt out on cooking big meals every day; besides, it's just the two of them living together.

When he finally got back to their apartment, Jungkook left all the clothes bags by their bedroom door and he replaced the missing mug in the kitchen, then put away the groceries.

Finally, after that, he went straight to the couch and laid back on it, stretching out in relief as he could now relax. He was finally done at— he peeked at his phone— seven in the evening.

"Jungkook-ah?"

The familiar scent of his alpha filled the air just seconds after Jungkook heard his voice calling out to him. It's always been hard to describe Seokjin's scent. There's a familiarity to it that has nothing to do with him, but more like the nights that come and go, the nights that engulf you and make you feel calm and relaxed. Seokjin's scent is the night air and all Jungkook ever wants to do is give into that feeling and curl up in the alpha's arms and sleep away.
