Michael's POV:
"I wasnt allowed in the ICU. I'm not family. I had to stand outside the room with Ashton and Luke and we looked through the windows. Calum was pale and frail looking. He was thin and his muscles looked droopy. There was a lot of machines hooked up to him as well. From the angle i was on there looked like a lot of doctors and nurses in there. There was lots of chattering going on as well. And than suddenly Mali walked out holding her head clearly she was upset. Whats wrong Mali?" I asked while i massaged Mali's shoulders
'I think I might throw up, Calum signed DNR (do not resesitate) papers. He told us all in there if anything happens he doesnt want to brought back. He said he doesnt want to be kept alive by so many different machines.'
To sum it up for you all, Calum doesn't want to fight cancer anymore.
"That was probably the most shocking things anyone has ever told me. I wont let anything happen to calum. Nothing at all."
calum went to get xrays and an mri.
1 hour later.
results.
Chelsea's POV:
"Alrighty. I have results. And I have good news. No broken bones. And secondly the tumor on your brain is no longer visible. so basically Cal has beat one cancer so far. Congratulations. Lastly, theres seems to be no change in the size of the tumors in the lungs. We've been talking with Dr. Alexis and Nurse Taylor back in Sydney and there telling us to give you regular chemo treatment."
Calum's POV:
My results were pretty good for the most part. I beat brain cancer. That was a good accomplishment. I wasnt free yet, i still had lung cancer and now i'm getting chemotherapy again. I was told that if in 2 days if I can walk and breathe and the swelling on my stomach goes down than i'll be able to play the next show. Im hoping to do that. But, the next show was in Louisville and thats where i was getting my biopsies. The only biospy neccessary now is my lungs. The doctors already know whats going on in the rest of my body. after the u.s leg is over we'll be flying home so i can get treatment and relax. we're being forced to now cancel uk and european shows. but at least we have the australia and new zealand legs. our last show in america is in a week and half and than we have a 2 month and half break ahead of us. maybe i can try and get better."
