"Hi calum. don't you want to talk to me?" Mali was finally there to be by calums side. "i love you baby brother, never stop fighting." mali gave cal a lil kiss on the cheek and smiled. "i cant be mad at you sis." calum said smiling really big. he pointed to the chair and she sat down. mali nodded and the other boys stepped out. "how did your surgery go? Im sorry that i wasnt here." Mali felt really bad. "Surgery went good. The chance of cancer coming back in my heart is a lot." Cal sighed, causing his chest to hurt. "Are you ok? The boys said you're upset." Mali already knew that he wasnt ok. "im in pain mali. the battle is hard." His voice cracked and he almost began crying. "dont cry..think of this soon you'll be out of here playing shows again." mali was trying so hard to be postive. "i cant do this-." Mali cut calum off. "what do you mean you cant do this anymore?" disappointment filled mali's eyes. "I just cant." Calum was so upset. "what have you been googling?" mali tried to remain calm. "Cancer stuff." Calum sorta lied. "What kind of cancer stuff?" she asked. "You know like other treatments and death." calum began to panic. "I need you to talk more in depth, so i can understand whats going on." calum sighed at mali's words. "I read that if you have terminal cancer and dont want to deal with it anymore you can request the doctors to give you a drug that makes you pass away." once calum finished talking he broke down. "calum dont do this. you know thats night right." mali tried to keep herself strong around calum. "Mali, you didnt sign up to watch me die." calum was angry and full of tears. "asking the doctors to help you die is wrong and you know that." shes never been so disappointed in her entire life. "sis, you'll never understand what im going through." tears continously fell down his cheeks. "youre not leaving me unless the big guy upstairs says it time." she felt kind of bad for yelling at calum. "Mali if itll make you feel any better, i guess ill try and kick cancers ass for the second time." Mali immediately stopped crying. "now thats the spirit, lil bro. keep your head up." they both exchanged smiles and the boys walked back in.
