"Mali drove me to the doctor today. I had to go and see if I'm doing alright. The doctors want to make sure that the chemo hasn't destroyed anything else in my body."
10:30am.
**dr Alexis walks in the room**
'Hello, Calum. How have you've been feeling, lately?'
"Good I guess. I mean there's been a lot going on lately. I almost died does that count?"
'Today...no chemo. We'll check your blood,heart,lungs and we'll check out the surgery scar from your liver operation. Is that okay?'
"Yeah that's fine thank you. I hope there's no longer any complications. I want the last leg of tour to goes perfectly."
'you're doing great Calum. In a few months you'll most likely be cancer free.'
"Thank you. Thank you so much."
'Ill see you back in a few days for another chemo treatment. Have a good rest of your day."
***3days later***
'Hey Cal! How are you?'
"Good,I guess."
'You know the drill. I'll get Taylor & she'll bring the bag of chemo. It shouldn't take long today.'
"thanks. I'll wait here."
'Hey Calum. I like your beanie today. It's cute. Shall we get started?'
"Yeah let's get it started."
'So Calum...would you like me to stay here with you for now. I don't want you to be alone. That's not right.'
"Yes, I can use someone to talk to."
'Hows the second album going?'
"It's going great actually."
'Do you think you can sing a few lyrics from one of your new songs? Like give me a sneak peak? I won't tell anyone I promise.'
"I'll sing you only a few lyrics from this song Permanent Vacation we wrote."
'Oh my god I can't wait!'
"Frustration, desperation
They say I need some kind of medication
Situation: no motivation
Destination: permanent vacation"
'Calum, that was amazing! Your vocal cords are absolutely amazing.'
