Its been 3 months since Calum's surgery. He was doing a lot better. 5sos were preparing to do some acoustic shows around Australia. And today Calum was going for scans and hopefully it'll be good news.
"Good morning, Cal. How are you doing?" A familiar voice asked me. It sounded like Taylor. "good i guess." I felt bad if i were to lie to her. "You're looking great today." Taylor was probably one of the nicest people you can ever meet. "I have a feeling that this will be good news." Calum smiled widely. "Go into scan room one and I'll start by putting the I.V in, than I'll give you the dye, so than we can get the MRI done and over with." Taylor led Calum into the room and put the I.V in his arm. He flinched a little. Taylor then began to explain what will be happening. I liked to hear her talking even though I've been through the process hundreds of times already. "Calum are you ready?" She asked me. "Yeah". I said. "Just a bit nervous." I added.
**15 minutes later**
"Alright Calum, let remove the I.v and than you can go into a regular exam room. I'll be there will the results momentarily." Taylor helped me up and escorted me to the next room.
*5 minutes later**
"Okay so I have the MRI, results." Taylor looked quite happy. My chest was pounding though. "I have really good news." That made me even more nervous, cause that could mean anything. "It looks like trees no longer a trace of cancer in your body. You're cancer free." I popped up from the exam table and hugged Taylor. I was just so happy. "But, there's more." Oh here we go this can't be good. "There's always a chance your health will decline and you'll be in here." That sadden me a bit. "But the good news now is that you're in remission! Your hair will grow back and your skin will be that nice tan color again. You'll be able to sing without any problems." That was relieving to hear. "Thank you. That means a lot." I said and shook her hand and left. And as soon as I got out side I dialed the boys and I screamed the news to the boys. I removed the beanie from my bald head and in the car with a sharpie marker I wrote "I best cancer", on the side of my head and than I took a selfie and posted it to twitter and Instagram. It was exciting news for me. I kicked cancers ass for the second time in almost 2 years.
