Question: What if Calum's cancer relapsed but wasn't throughout his body?
Answer: Calum would be still alive. I can tell you that. He would go back to his regular treatments and probably would be recommend for surgery:)
Question: What if Calum died home in Australia rather than in America?
Answer: it would've been a lot harder on Mali. If Mali was in the presence of Calum when he passed, she wouldn't be the same. She was so close to him it was insane. I think it's best that he passed away in another country. It gives Mali closure to remember him the way she saw him before the Super Bowl
Question: what if Calum beat his cancer for good?
Answer: he would be around to play with his new nephew :) he would be healthy and live a normal life. 5sos would still be tourin and making new music
Question: how come each of his relapses were different?
Answer: I tried really hard to keep them similar or the same so it would make sense. I changed it up because who knew what Calum would feel.
Question: why didn't Calum tell anyone that he didn't feel well before the halftime performance?
Answer: he didn't want to miss playing that huge gig. In the back of his mind he knew that those symptoms indicated something really bad. Plus cal didn't want to worry people
Question: throughout this whole book, was Calum smoking through his cancer battle?
Answer: yes and no. He was smoking way before chapter 1 existed. He stopped smoking for a while but starts again after he was in remission. My best guess is if he didn't go back to it he probably would've never had to go through everything again. Oh and he had an occasional cigarette before he passed
Question: why was him and Mali koa so close?
Answer: because they're brother and sister. And Calum needed all the love during his battle. His sister is very supportive of him
Question: did he go out in public a lot to meet fans during all this?
Answer: yes and no. Most of the time he was very ill and in the hospital. He's even said that it kills him on the inside that fans were unable to meet him. Fans wanted to see him too. They wanted to show their support in person :)
Question: how come Mali knew what to do the day Calum slipped in the shower?
Answer: she's been reading up on a bunch of stuff - in school she took nursing courses and she's even spoken to CALUMS doctors about what to do in an emergency with him. She purchased all the medical equipment just to be safe and so in case of an emergency she can help Calum before the paramedics arrive
Question: why didn't the Hood's fly to the Super Bowl half time show to see 5sos?
Answer: Calum told them it was unnecessary and just to watch the performance on tv. They listened to his request
Question: how come Ashton had to call up the Hood's to tell him that Calum had died
Answers: nothing was mentioned on social media until after Calum's family was notified. I think deep in their hearts when they answered the phone I think they knew already that he was gone :(
Question: why was he still touring if he was so sick? And always in the hospital ?
Answers: he didn't wanna disappoint fans. Plus, it was keeping him happy. Their management did a very good job with planning out what hospital and what doctors were willin to give Calum proper care
Question: why did mikey get so effected by calums illness?
Answer: i believe somewhere in the fanfic , it says that he had family members who passed away from cancer. He's said he's lost too many to it and he didn't want to loose anymore. Calums death crushed him
Question: their religious sides came out during this, why?
Answer: they all went to Christian schools and were raised in a Christian family, they knew that God was their to help you. Plus, they all figured out the praying helps, it alleviates stress. God kept Calum on earth four years after his diagnoses. Deep down inside , the boys were thankful that Calum wasn't in pain Anymore and was up there with God. That made them happy

Answer: yes he did. he accomplished a lot in 23 years x
Question: why was the baby named Calum Jr.?
Answer: it was so Mali could keep Calum alive. Her connection to him was so strong that she doesn't want to forget about him
Question: did fans take Calum's illness personally??
Answer: it hit home for lots of people, yes. their idol was crumpling beneath their feet and it scared them that their live saver wasn't going to make it
Question: why did Calum smoke after he beat cancer the first time?
Answer: pear pressure & he was drunk. That one cigarette caused heap amount of problems.
Question: where was the obituary written in?
Answer: news day and international news. After he died, it became national and worldwide; several news stories came out with several different stories. That was the official article posted for the world to see
Question: how we're fans invited to Calum's funeral?
Answer: they had to write a eulogy for Calum , the best ones were picked. And certain ones were read out by one of the boys

Answer: bad things happen to good people :(
