"Good morning Calum. We have to get ready."
**calum picks his head up and looks at the clock to see what time it is**
'Its 5am. Why are you waking me up at 5am, Mum?'
"Did you forget? You're getting a lung biopsy today. We have to get to the hospital at 6am,your scheduled for 7am."
6am. 5SOS with the Hood Family arrive at the hospital.
6:15am. Pre-surgical testing is being administered on Calum.
6:45am. Calum gets a room and a nurse inserts and IV in his arm.
6:55am. Calum gets wheeled down the the operating room and Luke volunteers to stay in their until Calum falls asleep for the anesthesia.
"Calum, we'll be here when you wake up. You're gonna be okay. Don't worry you'll be able to play tonight's show. Good luck I love you."
7am. Calum was finally asleep and the doctors exited luke out of the room.
7:05am. The operation began.
In the waiting room......
Mali was a nervous wreck. Joy and David sat in silence holding hands. Michael kept looking at Mali giving her faint smiles, while whispering 'cal will be ok'. Ashton was listening to music to try and keep his mind off everything. Luke was talking on the phone with his mother.
7:50am. Calum was placed in recovery.
1:15pm. A nurse walked into calums room with the biopsy results.
"Hello Calum. I have results. Good things we ran this test today. Your 'healthy' lung tissue showed microscopic rumors forming. Since we got these new tumors early intense chemotherapy should kill them off. I'm sorry. We'll give you treatment now & than I'll send in another nurse with discharge papers so you can play your last USA 2015 show."
'Thank you for informing me. I just hope I get better." Calum sighed and smiled weakly.
The nurse than walked out of the room. Joy rubbed Calums back & tried to hold back her tears.
