Mali's POV
"It's been a little over a week since Calums passing. I'm still in the same position since the news has broke. I'm laying in bed laying on my side with a box of tissues and my phone looking at pics of Calum. My throat dry and sore from silently crying to myself. Tears stained upon my cheeks. Calum...why did you have to go? Why couldn't you take me with you. Every few hours I fall into a deep sleep thinking this is all a dream and than waking up and realizing it's reality. A really sad reality. The boys have been ignoring the media and ignoring pretty much everything.
**flash back to a week and half ago**
"No, no, no, this can't be happening. Calum can't be dead. Calums well and breathing. He didn't die. He's still here with us. No. I refuse to accept that my brother is gone.
(Mali picks up here phone and dials Calums cell phone number)
The phone kept ringing and ringing until it reached voice mail.
"Hi Calum here, I can't get to the phone right now. Leave a message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can!"
(End of flash back)
**knocking on the door**
"Mali are you okay?" Joy asked.
Mali didn't answer.
"Memories?" She asked.
"Memories." I repeated, with a tear stream down my face.My mom was taking calum's passing pretty well. I don't know how a parent can take their sons death so easily. She's stronger than me.
"Mali do you want dinner."
'No thanks I'm good.'
And when my mother left the room it hit me. I calmed my self down and jumped out of bed took the keys off my dresser and ran down the rugged Hallway and unlocked Calums bedroom door. Everything has been left the same since the way Calum left it. I grabbed his mac from his night table along with charger and headed back to my room.
I new his login so it was easy for me to access. Thank the lord he gave me the password or I would be devastated.
I unlocked the computer and accessed his files. There was thousands of files on his computer. When I scrolled to the bottom I found this folder. It read, "Bass lessons," I double clicked it and the folder opened up. 10 videos popped up.
I did what I had to do and clicked the first video.
I took a few breaths as the video loaded.
Calums face than popped up on the screen.
"Hey Mali-Koa! I know you'd find these videos. I put together a series of bass lessons. I'm going to teach you to play my bass. Now, first get the case and take the bass out...."I smiled through the tears, seeing his face and hearing his voice made me happy.
I finished the first video that night and passed out on the bed, happy for the first time in over a week.
