The weekend flew by, and Monday arrived.
Darius is walking down the hallway, oblivious to the students staring at him.
After he got to their room, all his classmates looked at him, and he didn't know why he just shrugged and continued to walk to his seat.
After he sat down, his friends gathered around him.
"Darius, are you okay?" Daniel asks
"Yes, why?" Darius answered after he got his notebook in his bag.
"A-nothing," Daniel hesitatingly replied.
"It's because of your bruise. Did your sister scold you about that? " Julie said because she knows how protective his ate
"We were going to talk about this later," John said when he saw the technician coming in together with Neyah.
Darius acts like he doesn't see her, and so does Neyah. They act like each of them didn't exist.
During discussions, they can feel the barrier between them even their friends notice it. They're not used to seeing this kind of them because they're always close to each other, almost cuddling, even when the teacher is talking.
After the teacher left the room the two of them stay silent waiting for each other to do the first move. But non of them did until their next subject teacher came in.
Time was slowly running out for Neyah, so right after the teacher left, She faced Darius, and before she could talk, Carla came in.
"Darius, can you help me? I need to find a certain book in the library," she said, after she looked at Neyah's frowning face.
Darius was hesitating, but he couldn't say no, so he said yes. He left together with Carla, and now Neyah is still looking at the door like she wanted to burn it.
"Do they have a problem?" Julie asked
"Woah, what the hell is happening?" Noah couldn't believe it.
"Makiki chismis ako," Keith said.
Neyah stood up and angrily left the room.
"Hayaan muna natin sila" John said the last thing neyah heard before she finally got out of the room.
Those weekend Neyah was feeling guilty because of what she said but she only did that for his own... safety?
But after Darius didn't talk to her, it made her mad, especially at Carla. She knows Carla saw her about to talk to Darius and she abruptly interrupted them.
Neyah was frowning while walking down to hallway
While on the other hand Darius and Carla looking for a book.
"Nagaway ba kayo ni Neyah"
Nahinto si Darius sa paghahanap dahil sa biglang tanong ni Carla.
"No" Darius said because he believe that it just a misunderstanding
"Ah... bakit hindi kayo nag papansinan?" Tanong ni Carla.
"Sigurado ka bang nandito yung libro?" Tanong ni Darius nag baba kasakaling maiba ang takbo ng kanilang pinag uusapan.
Nahinto sya sa pag kalkal si Darius ng hatakin sya ni Carla paharap sa kanya. Gulat at nag tatala nya itong tiningnan.
"Wala talaga akong hinahanap na libro. I just make that excuse to talk to you" She said with a bit or red in bher cheeks.
She remember how many times she tried to talk to him but since Neyah was always in his side she can't find any chance.
