📌 A/N 📌

This chapter is a bit different from the rest of the other chapters and the series because I wanted to share with y'all how their winter holidays had been before everything goes south for the four teenagers ;(

If you guys have watched the series you'd have a clue about what the next chapters is gonna be like. Anyway, I wrote this chapter when I wasn't myself—suffering from migraine lols.

Ps:- I don't really edit my work or review them, so if there's any corrections please, feel free to correct. Thank you :)

The nail technician was making 90's butterflies on Chantel's nails, while Gia opted for the bright strips. Her mind began to wander, their ride to the nail saloon made her tap into a unpleasant memory of hers. On her birthday week during the month of August, she'd crossed paths with Todd again. The teenager was out with his little sister, when their eyes met—she tried to flee but he'd stopped her.

He'd pleaded for five minutes of her time and since the boy was with his elven year old sister, Chantel didn't want to be rude. They found themselves a quite corner, where his little sister had a popsicle and Todd tried to explain his part of the story to Chanel. He'd assured Chantel that, he didn't try to force himself on her and she was hammered to recall the incident properly. They only headed to the woods on the first place because Chantel had told him, she wanted to take a stroll as she was feeling quite high.

There, they heard something or someone so Todd pressed her against the tree telling her quite down as she was humming a song but she began to tear up and out of the blue a tall guy appeared. He was furious and began screaming at Todd, and before he could explain himself—he was on the cold ground.

Chantel was crying and yelling at the tall mysterious boy, "what did you do?"

But he just grabbed her wrist and they disappeared, Todd was slowly passing out and the last person he saw was Brooke Bluebell yelling his name.

Chantel couldn't really believe if Todd was lying or telling the truth and if he was really telling the truth, why the hell did Roman Godfrey beat the shit out of him? She didn't want to think about it, she was more confused than ever. But she wanted to move on from this terrible trauma in her life—so she decided to make peace with her past and told Todd whatever happened, happened because she got terribly hammered and couldn't remember a thing and she couldn't say—that she believed him—but she really wanted both of them to move on from this incident and she was sorry that Todd had to be hospitalised but she was glad that he's doing well now.

And from there on they'd both moved on and they never crossed paths ever again. But thinking about that incident now made her wonder—did Roman Godfrey truly lost it that night? Because after that incident she could see some random changes in Roman's behaviour. He'd been telling her about these weirds dreams or sometimes about these voices in his head and she after soon found out that—he could mesmerise people. It was a really weird and long summer for them both.
