once out of the underground, you met up with mikasa and armin. you cut the female titan's cheek, earning a 'good job' from armin.
'it was my mistake that caused us to lose the corps' best soldier. i need to take full responsibility for my actions'
annie didn't pay any attention to you or the others, as she moved towards a clearing. eren chased her, while hange gave everyone orders. you watched as eren fought with her, but annie had more experience in being a titan.
once she left eren unable to move, she started running towards the wall. she jumped on it and started climbing it.
"she's fast! at this rate she's going to get away!" armin said.
"i'm not gonna let her!" you said, running towards her.
"y/n, wait!" mikasa said, making you turn towards her.
"there's no way you can catch up to her"
you stared at mikasa before you started running towards annie. you used your vertical maneuvering gear and attached it to the wall, before attaching it to her shoulder. you moved closer to her right hand and cut off her fingers, before cutting her left hand.
you looked at the female titan who had a shocked expression on her face, as you landed on it.
"annie. fall"
you watched as she fell from the wall, and the rest of the corps started opening up her nape, while eren held her in place. he reached to take her out, but a blinding light started coming out of her titan.
"what was that?" you asked, no one but yourself while looking down at the scene.
rumble from the wall fell next to you, and you turned your head to look at it. you stood frozen in your place, staring at the titan inside the wall.
"hange!" you yelled, in an attempt to grab someone's attention.
"y/n! what are you still doing up there?" you heard them yell back, but they were unable to look at the wall, due to all the smoke coming from annie's and eren's titan.
you stared at the titan, as it moved its eye.
"there's a titan in the wall! it's alive!"
once hange was able to look at it, they stood frozen in their spot. you held your sword in hand, ready to stab it but hange's voice stopped you;
"y/n, get away from there! it's dangerous!"
'it's like the colossal titan' you thought as you stared at it and its height, once away from the wall.
you walked towards mikasa, armin and eren- who laid unconscious in the boy's arms.
"is he okay?" you asked, looking at the brown haired boy.
