"you couldn't kill or allow someone to kill them... when you, yourself, is carrying your and eren's child"
"what?!" everyone around her asked, while the people around you looked at her wide-eyed.
your eyes shot at onyankopon, who had the same shock in his expression. you focused back on yelena, your eyes narrowing.
"how do you know about this?" you asked, avoiding anyone else's eyes.
"after the attack on liberio happened, you came back to the airship and immediately rushed to the bathroom. while everyone was learning about sasha's condition, you were in there, emptying your stomach"
"it made me question how a soldier as good as you could get dizzy from fighting?... so i kept my eye on you"
"with everyone pushing you to eat, sleep and take care of yourself -along with the changes of your body- i was able to realize your situation. but, you kept it well-hidden! you can tell that by the reactions from them" she added, looking at the people by her side.
"that's why you didn't want to kill me...?" gabi asked, looking at you.

"it's not only that... i know for sure, sasha wouldn't want you to die"

"but... i killed people..."
"gabi... i did, too. all of us here did..."
"whether we wanted it or not, we still killed them. whether they were innocent or whatever else... people die and they do from humans' hands" you added.
"were you thinking this when you killed that kidnapper ten years ago?" yelena asked.
you stayed silent, your eyes boring into hers.
"you said to keep an eye on her, not search whatever she's done in her life" mikasa said, angrily looking at yelena.
"nobody was stopping me from learning about everyone here. especially eren's interest" the blonde said, turning her head towards you.
"now that i mentioned it, i can finally ask you... do you even regret killing him?" she added.
"he killed my parents and put my and eren's life in danger. so no, i don't regret it"
