you were sitting in front of eren's grave, cleaning his headstone. a lone tear rolled down your cheek, as you reread the words;
here forever rest peacefully my most beloved, my dear, 854
you got up, holding onto the tree for support. you placed your hand on your swollen belly, feeling the small kicks of your baby.
"i'll come back later, eren... it's time i tell everyone the truth..."
you sighed, before you started walking away. you walked to your house, a small cabin just some minutes away from the big tree. everyone was gonna visit you today, since mikasa dragged them all to paradis.
you opened the door when you heard knocks coming on it, meeting your older sister and your friends. mikasa wrapped her arms around you, holding you against her- as much as she could.
"i missed you..." she whispered, kissing your head.
"me too..."
you pulled away, allowing everyone to hug you before entering your home.
"such a lovely house you have, y/n"
"thank you, pieck"
"i think it's more than enough for two people" you added.
"how far along are you, now?" jean asked, looking at you.
"nearly eight months" you replied.
"y/n... how are you coping with it?" levi asked.
"it's so hard, but... i'm trying"
"and since all of you are here, i want to tell you some things"
they nodded their heads, before you started telling them about events they didn't fully know.
you told them about how you knew eren could see the future, about the countless times he asked you to run away with him, about your marriage, about your meeting in his cell and the truth behind it, as well as how you wanted to die once you killed him.
"y/n tha-"
"i'm sorry... i really didn't want to lie to all of you. i didn't want armin to get beaten. i didn't want to hide the rumbling from you, but-" you interrupted mikasa.
"y/n, we're not mad at you" connie said.
you looked at them, noticing the small smiles on their faces.
"now, eren's behavior makes a lot more sense..." reiner started.
"he had already seen what was gonna happen, that's why he acted so cold towards us..." jean added.
