you couldn't move. you just stood there, confused, while that one titan kept destroying the already dead one.
"y/n!" you heard mikasa say, as she grabbed you and carried you to the roof.
"you fell because you ran out of gas, right?! are you injured?" she asked, looking at you for any injuries.
"...i'm fine"
connie, mikasa and armin looked at the steam that came off the titan on the ground, before looking at the fifteen meter titan that saved you. their eyes widened as it took a fighting stance before it hit the other titan's neck, sending its head flying towards you.
"it... finished the job?"
"then it knew the weak point!" armin continued, eyes locked on the titan.
you kept your eyes on it, while it walked away• completely ignoring the four of you.
"we gotta hurry to hq! everyone's fighting there!" connie said, his swords in his hands.
"y/n's out of gas!" mikasa said, pointing at you.
"what? are you serious? what are we gonna do if you're not there?"
"you have mikasa" you answered.
"she's only one! but you and her are unstoppable!" connie said.
"what needs to be done here is obvious!" armin said, as he knelt down.
"i don't have much left myself, but... hurry up and trade with me!" he said, looking up at you.
"armin!"
"it's gotta be this way! there's no point in me having it! but this time... use it wisely, to save everyone" he said, making you look at him• eyes slightly wide and lips parted.
"alright!" you said as you started changing your gas.
"the maneuvering device still works and i gave you all my blades!"
he picked up one of your broken blades and held it between his fingers.
"just let me keep this one! the one thing i want to avoid is getting eaten alive!" he said, making you get up and take the blade from him.
you threw it off the roof, making armin question your action. you grabbed his wrist and looked at him;
"i'm not going to leave you here"
"but you can't fly around carrying someone when there are titans all over the place!"
"there's no way we're gonna leave you behind!" connie said, grabbing armin's arm.
