you saw everyone as they got excited about a car and started following it, buying carrots in the process.
you looked around you, watching how many people surrounded the place. you turned your head to the side, eyes focusing on eren's figure.
"quit spacing out, eren! we're in the outside world, aren't we?!" armin said, his eyes sparkling.
"yeah... this is what's on the other side of the sea" he replied.
mikasa and armin started walking, before eren held your hand in his.
"there's no telling what'll happen here, so stick close to me" he said, looking at you.
you nodded your head, a small smile painting your features.
you walked together, your eyes traveling everywhere• in an attempt to see as much of the city as you could.
you noticed armin and mikasa that held something unknown to you, in their hands.
"what's that?"
"hm? oh, that's ice cream" eren said, looking at the hands of the two friends.
"com'on! i'm gonna buy you one"
you walked towards the man and he instantly gave you a cone of vanilla ice cream. eren paid for it, before walking towards the railings of the port.
you tried some of the soft texture, eyes sparkling in excitement. you moved it towards eren, as he took it from your hand and had a taste of it.
"it's good" he said, looking at you.
you nodded your head, before you rested your lower back on the railings next to him. he draped an arm around your shoulders and held you close against his body, as you both enjoyed the ice cream.
a commotion started and the two of you walked towards it. you noticed levi who had grabbed a little boy's arm- sasha's purse in his small hand.
your eyes were wide as you listened to everything the people around you suggested on doing to the boy. it was too much for pickpocketing. especially since sasha got her purse back.
"he's gonna be alright" eren whispered in your ear.
you looked at him, a small smile on his face while he rested his hand on your shoulder.
you had no choice but to believe him, since he'd already seen it. you released a breath you didn't know you were holding and turned your head towards the scene in front of you.
