-two months later-

"mikasa, can you help me with the boxes?"

"i'll be right there!"

your older sister soon joined your side and started taking some of the boxes from your hands. you wiped the sweat from your forehead and sighed, as you looked around the place.

"why do i feel like we're the only ones actually working?"

"i think we really are..." you replied, looking at mikasa.

she got up and dusted off her skirt, before drinking some water.

"i'm gonna bring more" you informed her, in which she nodded her head.

you walked out of the farm, carefully passing through the little kids that surrounded the whole place. you passed by armin and jean, and headed towards the fence where eren and historia were. he had three sacks in his arms, which you quickly took away.

"hey, wait..."

"i'm gonna carry those for you" you said, calmly.

"stop treating me like some old man!" eren complained.

"you're tired from training"

"of course... sorry, y/n...!"

historia stayed silent as she watched the interaction between the two of you, before she softly laughed. you turned your head towards her, a small smile making its way to your face.

historia was one of the people who loved seeing the interactions between you and eren- once out of the survey corps uniform.

and sasha was the one who totally teased you after telling her some things. she loved how you showed a different side of yourself to her.

it's been three months since you and eren started your relationship. it was getting harder to spend time with each other, since he was mostly training with hange, but you'd always spend the nights together;

either filling in one another about the day you had, or cuddling, or staring at the starry sky.

even if times were hard, you were both happy you -at least- had each other.

"y/n, you can leave them here!" historia said, pointing at the small wooden table.

you walked towards it and placed the sacks there, feeling your arms ready to fall off your body.

"thank you for the help! i really appreciate it!" the blonde girl said, smiling at you.

you smiled and nodded your head, accepting her kind words. you watched the kids run around the empty space, playing hide and seek with the older ones. you couldn't believe that those were the same children you met two months ago.
