you woke up and jerked your body upwards, as you scanned the place around you. a throbbing headache appeared again, making you grit your teeth and slightly hit your head.
"y/n!"
'mikasa'
"wait, you shouldn't move yet!"
'armin'
when you didn't hear the third voice you wanted to hear, you snapped. you grabbed armin by the collar and brought him closer to your face.
"eren! where is he?!"
"y/n, calm down! don't move! we don't know how serious your injuries are!"
without having your question answered, you clicked your tongue and pushed armin away. you quickly moved towards the edge of the wall and you looked down, meeting two small titans and a huge hole on the ground.
"where is he?!" you asked again, voice laced with worry and anger.
"eren was taken away!" mikasa said, making time around you stop.
"ymir, too... by bertholdt and reiner" armin added.
"the moment the collosal titan hit the ground, its body evaporated. since we were down there, the heat and wind pressure did enough damage to incapacitate us. the force was so strong, it kept our comrades on the wall stuck up there for a while" he started explaining.
"but i did manage to see something, while that was going on! i saw the armored titan defeat eren"
"the armored titan was the only one able to withstand the force! it bit into his neck and tore it off with eren inside!"
after that, you couldn't hear anything. your eyes were wide and your lips were trembling, as your mind went blank. thoughts of eren being dead kept clouding your head, making you unable to concentrate on anything else that was coming out of armin's mouth.
"it's been five hours since they left with eren and ymir..." you heard mikasa say.
'five... hours...'
you turned your body to the side and stared in front of you, hands and lips shaking every now and then.
"did anyone... go after them...?" you managed to choke out.
"no" mikasa said.
"why not?" you said, inching closer to her face while you held her by the shoulders.
"they can't get any horses over the wall" she calmly said.
she placed a hand on your shoulder and rubbed it gently, as she explained the situation you all were in. you gritted your teeth and held your head, feeling that constant banging again.
