-some days later-
sasha's funeral had just ended, and you were sitting by her grave. you had brought her some white flowers and you had placed them in front of her tombstone.
"hey, sasha... i know you can't possibly hear me, but... i miss you... it's unfair how you were the one to die..."
"i don't have much time left here with you... i have arranged with hange to go see eren on his cell... it's time i tell him the truth..."
"sasha... please, watch over us..."
you got up, and started walking away from her grave. you noticed hange and you made your way to them.
"you ready to go?"
you nodded your head and followed them, both of you staying silent. you turned your head to look back in the distance, before you focused in front of you. you wiped a tear that escaped from your eye, and took a deep breath.
"y/n... i don't think it's gonna be okay for you to be alone with eren..."
"what?"
"i'm just saying, it's probably gonna be better if i stay there with you!"
"hange, there's no need to do that. i'm gonna be just fine"
they looked at you, before they took the keys for the cells. they unlocked the door and you started walking towards the last cell. you saw eren in front of the mirror, and you started trying to find the right words to say to him.
"if we don't fight... we can't win. fight. fight" you heard him say.
"what are you doing?" hange asked, making eren look at them sideways.
"were you talking to that mirror?"
eren ignored them, his eyes focusing back to his reflection on the glass.
"you were just talking to your reflection in that mirror, weren't you? you told yourself to fight, right?" hange added.
"you said "fight, fight". you said to fight... twice. fight what? if you said to fight twice... does that mean it's a two-round fight?"
"i'll never get it if you don't speak up" hange said with a sigh.
"i don't think it's normal for people to talk with no one else there... at least, i've never struck up a conversation with my reflection" they continued.
