Sunoo and Ni-ki were worlds apart. In their own spaces away from each other because of how stressful college life was on them. They didn’t live together nor attend the same school, so it was hard to keep contact most of them. Except for those nights. Nights when they were both free and they could have time to talk to each other.

It was a time that Sunoo looked most forward too, every single night he would get himself ready for Ni-ki’s phone call and they would talk about their days and how everything had been going. It was a time when he would finally be able to listen to his boyfriend’s voice and have peace.

Sunoo loved daydreaming about how Ni-ki would call him and have hearts in his eyes over Sunoo. Just by talking to him, he would be happy immediately. Sunoo sighed and got up from his chair in his class, soon exiting the room as Jungwon caught up to him.

”Hyung!” He said, frantically. He was worried as to what the other was trying to signal by the tone but he just stood still in the hallway and waited for Jungwon to catch up. “There you are, thank gosh. Kyungjun hyung wanted an update on if you still are dating Ni-ki.” Sunoo rolled his eyes. As much as he did like Kyungjun, in a very friendly way, there was no way he would ever break up with Ni-ki for him.

Sunoo deadpanned. “Of course, I am still with Ni-ki. Tell Kyungjun hyung he can stay out of my business because if I wanted to date him, I would already.” He shrugged. He didn’t want to come off as rude but he was just done with the behavior from the older. The flirtatious glances and teasing behavior. Sunoo shuddered, he could never leave Ni-ki for Kyungjun.

Ni-ki was sweeter, more considerate of Sunoo’s feelings. He always tried to make Sunoo aware of his beauty and complimented him every night. Whenever they did have dates, Ni-ki would make sure they did things that both him and Sunoo loved doing. He would always say sweet nothings to Sunoo and his touches felt like heaven sent by an angel. No way would he leave his boyfriend, Ni-ki who he loved, for a guy who probably wanted a one night stand.

”I’ll try sweetening it a little for you, hyung. Thanks anyway.” Jungwon smiled and kept walking beside Sunoo for a little while they chatted about the last class they had together. It was honestly pretty boring since they were just learning the same topic each and every single day. If you asked them, they would say that the school system is rigged.

”Going back to Ni-ki,” Jungwon changed the subject. Sunoo nodded and held his books up while he put his things away in his locker. “How do you guys survive long distancing? I could never do that. Especially not with how clingy I assume both of you are.” Sunoo let out a small chuckle at that statement and just shrugged.

”It’s harder some days than others,” he paused. Of course, Jungwon wasn’t fully aware of how their relationship was, but they made it work. “On other days, we’re fine. Besides, we see each other every break and.. and call each other every night. We’re fine.” Jungwon wrapped his arm around Sunoo’s shoulder and cooed at how happy his friend was with his relationship.

”Well, as long as it’s working out.” Sunoo nodded, going along with Jungwon to his next class.

Sunoo dropped his bag onto the floor. After a long day of school, he was ready to just marinate on his floor after how exhausted he was. He decided to take a shower first and then change into his pajamas, so he could feel cleaner and comfier before his call with Ni-ki.

Once he was done with that, he went along with his face routine and dipped himself inside his bed once he was done. He almost fell asleep until he felt his phone vibrate, it was Ni-ki. He let out a sheepish smile.
